We stayed 6 nights in Zen which is a lovely cabin. Decent size and comfy bed. Lovely pool area and clean pool. Nice food and drink nearby and close to the beach. We hired scooters to get about the island. Sao looked after us really well - thank you!!

A bit in from the main road but that was a good thing since no noise and congestion. I was surprised how nice, clean and modern the small property was for the price. Convenience store,restaurants and cafes are steps away. Management were super friendly and helpful. Ive already planned for a longer stay here next year !

The resort is located on a very busy road. So all day and night you hear cars and especially screeching mopeds and scooters rushing by. Sleeping without earplugs is impossible. Rooms are spacious with a swimming pool in front of the door. The rooms are also very noisy. Make sure you are not dumped in the outer rooms, otherwise you have to look at a wall of another room all the time. The price we had...

We weren't actually staying here (sadly!) but visited my friends here on a daily basis for drinks. We loved it and will stay here next time we're in Lanta. I think what made it most special were the staff, in particular Jun, the smiliest, happiest, nuttiest lady in Thailand. What a total superstar. We stayed for one month and were quite happy with our time here. Cabins were comfortable, bathroom adequate and proximity to the beach is excellent. Wow! What a beautiful place to get away from the crowds. From incredible views to comfortable living quarters, amazing location close to the beach but just out of the hustle fitted out with an infinity pool and a wonderful little cafe/restaurant to spoil yourself with. A very good resort for less money that will make your vacation more enjoyable. I always try to stay in such a resort when I come to Koh Lanta because it is very clean and close to the beach and I have no problems here. It has a good view.

Great place for relax. I choose the resort because there were bad weather on Ko Lanta and I was looking for a place with a pool. Accomodation is perfect. Old TVs in rooms? Who cares. I can watch TV back home. Wifi is superb in whole area. Restaurant is good. Pool is great for early morning or late swimming. Quite place. Beaches and restaurants within five minutes of driving.

The view is amazing and location is very chill. We stayed at the seafront bungalow and music was not a dealbreaker as the atmosphere was very pleasant overall. After seeing review about slow food delivery we only ordered drinks and chicken nuggets and fries for our daughter. Drinks was really nice and delivered pretty fast. I stayed at Horizon Bungalow on Koh Lanta and paid around USD 100 per night for a beachfront bungalow. We have been there for dinner. The food take more than one hour to arrive, even though the place wasn’t full. It was tasty but the curry portions were really small compared to many other places we have been and the prices were slightly higher. The atmosphere was nice and music was good, but I don’t think we will go back there for the restaurant.

The best place I've stayed in Thailand! I originally booked 3 nights I extended my stay to 5 because I loved it. The host went above and beyond and was so helpful.

I have spent over a month in Baan Longhaad so i think i can tell couple of words. Its been couple years ago and to this day see how our hosts were crying when we were leaving. Extremely warm, kind and helpful people. Helped us with everything, including renting scooters, getting to the national park, getting better deals for everything. Very nice hotel on one end of the kantiang bay, which is a quite calm area if you are looking to relax but have everything you need around you. Bungalows are very cute all in wood from the outside and the inside, surrounding the nice swimming pool that has great views. I was staying in a nearby hotel, and I went to eat in the hotel restaurant for 2 evenings. The meal was very good, with several choices. I recommend this restaurant if you are nearby. A show of burning sticks on the beach entertained us well.

We LOVED our 4 night stay at Baan Laanta! We had one seaview bungalow (to die for!!) and one poolside bungalow for our daughter's (only one seaview one was available). I came here for yoga every day for three weeks while in Koh Lanta. Farra, the teacher, is incredible and guides through strong but mindful flow classes and the most dreamy yin yoga. I was floating out of the studio after every class. I didn’t stay at the bungalows as they were fully booked (it’s a popular place for good reasons!) but I stopped at the cafe every day. I had a basic but clean cottage. No frills. The bed was comfortable. There's a pool but I didn't use it so I can't comment. Lovely staff. The restaurant food was reasonably good. I didn't try any yoga classes so I can't comment on those. Laundry service is available. They did a good job. Folded and lovely scent. A shuttle can be arranged to and from the airport. A bit pricey but there aren't many transportation...

We did not stay in the accommodation here but visited the restaurant twice in our five night stay on Ko Lanta. The food was lovely - with the added bonus of gluten free options being clearly marked, which was great for my daughter who has coeliac disease. The trio of curries was particularly delicious - fresh and really flavourful.

Wonderful place to stay, very peaceful and quiet. The family that owns the place is also very nice and helpful. The day I was leaving I wasn’t feeling too well, so they gave me some paracetamol to take with me. Really thoughtful. Having a bike is definitely recommended though, Mada is not too close to the more busy parts of the island.

Amazing place to stay, right in the middle of the island. The bungalows are super cool, inside a beautiful garden. You have a fridge in the room. You can rent motorbike there, and there is a restaurant with nice food and cheap price. Spend 5 nights in this place located in the heart of the island. Very nice staff, good quality bungalow, well equipped, with low price. You can rent a scooter there for 150 bath a day and reach easily all the spots of the island. Many restaurants and a 7 eleven are 5min driving from the hotel.

A perfect vacation spot. The only flaw I’d say is that the tide is extremely low mid day so you can’t really enjoy the sea. But this has nothing to do with the hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing, the villas and rooms are very spacious. We tried out both, the villas and the rooms. The staff is there to help with everything and it’s a perfect vacation spot.

Stayed in a studio-like 1 bedroom overlooking the pool and ocean! We were literally just steps from the beach. The food and drinks on-site are fine, but there are quite a few choices of food if you take a leisurely walk down the beach. A handful of breakfast and coffee places are just a short walk or scooter down the road too. The location is fantastic. Its mostly quiet and secluded during the day...

Overall really good place to be , it was our choice to come on the end of rainy season but we didn't expect to smell damp all the time in the room. Few times we didn't have hot water and lamp exploded in the first night. That's why we can not give it more stars than that. We stayed at Andalay for 12 days at the beginning of April. My husband and I loved it! All staff are so lovely, welcoming and helpful! People say beds are too hard, I had the bestest sleep in ages! Beach is beautiful and all the trips can be organised for you by ladies at reception. 7 11 within walking distance. We are already hoping to return in couple of years time.

Location was pretty good, we could get to many places from it. Service was poor, staff were not friendly or helpful. They were nice to my boyfriend but not me, despite being friendly towards them. The beds were very hard and quite uncomfortable. The room itself was a good size for 2 people. They did not bring us new towels at all during our 5 night stay. This wasn't the right place for us. We are traveling with a 4 year old and don't ride a motorcycle or car. You definitely need one if you stay here or willing to pay a taxi every time you want to go somewhere. This hotel was too remote for us. Gammy and her family are super nice people with a good heart! The resort ist fantastic with beautiful beach view scenery to watch the sunset and the food is very good!
