The most amazing experience. Wonderful accommodation. Such lovely staff that were so helpful and welcoming.

This hotel is in a great location. The pillows were really comfortable and the view from the patio wa amazing.

Absolutely beautiful place and great value. We had rain for 2 of the 4 days we were there but we didn't mind as our room had a bath on the balcony with a seaview, was very clean and cosy with a huge TV. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. Well-placed with restaurants and the beach 5 mins walk. Would 10000% recommend.

Recently stayed here for 4 nights.
Booked a deluxe double room with a bath on the balcony, we loved it.
Amazing views over Kantiang Bay, quirky birds nest style room, surrounded by the natives (monkeys) who appeared reasonably friendly !
Breakfast could be improved upon in our opinion, but other than that all good.
Keeps you fit walking up & down to the local restaurants & the wonderful beach, would we return, yes for sure.

Very clean rooms, very very very comfortable bed, and very good balcony with lounge chairs. Some minus points but no big deal. Need to walk up the steps as it's on a slope. Small parking space, some road noise but there's not much traffic anyway, 1 or 2 mosquitoes that's about it. Location is ok, short drive to everything else.

Beautiful hotel and face to the sea. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The room is big and the bed is comfort. All the room with sea view. The hotel located on the most beautiful beach of Kantiang and Bamboo bay. The breakfast there are delicious. The surrounding there are many shops and restaurants.

We stayed at Bakatiang Resort for 8 days and overall had a nice experience. The resort met our expectations and offered a comfortable stay.

We stayed in a bungalow without the tub. While the room was clean and spacious, I was a bit disappointed with the view—it was a partial sliver of the ocean rather than the full view I’d hoped for. That said, the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were fantastic. The bathroom was great, with a separated shower and thoughtful amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and cotton buds provided. The air conditioning struggled to keep up and turned off when we left the room, which was a bit inconvenient, but the room servicing was always prompt and thorough.

The resort grounds were immaculate and well-maintained, which was impressive. The pool, though in a stunning location overlooking the valley and ocean, could have been cleaner—it often had hair and leaves floating, and I didn’t see it being cleaned during our stay.

Beach access is about a 5-minute walk, which was convenient, and the surrounding area is very chill and enjoyable. The resort is on a hill, so there is quite a bit of uphill walking, whether coming back from “town” or moving around the property—something to keep in mind for future visitors.

One thing I appreciated was the resort's laundry service, which was affordable (70 baht per kilo) and had a quick 24-hour turnaround. As for the restaurant, the staff was attentive, but the prices felt a bit high for what was offered.

Overall, Bakatiang Resort delivered a relaxing stay with some minor areas for improvement. The cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff stood out as highlights, while things like the pool maintenance and air conditioning could use some attention.

We stayed in one of the wood-tree-houses and it was one of the best accomodations we had in Thailand! Very clean, comfy, good internet connection, and they even had a bathtub on the balcony! Very relaxing and so luxurious! We can also recommend the food in the restaurant! The staff was so friendly and helped us out a lot, thank you ❤️ We will definetly come back next year
