Basic rooms for a good price, have air con and a fan. Owner is lovely. Easy walk into the nearest town, 7/11 and beach about 10-15mins. Slight walk uphill on the way back. Overall good stay

Spent 2 nights Mother and daughter are nice and friendly 5 minutes walk from restaurants beach and facilities But need to arrive there...it's fare from jetty Nice swimming pool with sea view, In the room ( a little refreshed should be great) Small nice balcony with 2 chairs and small table to have a drink or for taking coffee at breakfast WiFi Fridge Fan Hot water View...can see the sea but with a roof in front and parking down the balcony Double bungalow... A little bit noisy from one room to an other one, even floor moves... Nice from hotel to allowed me to spend time around the swimming pool after check out

The hotel did not live up to my expectations!
Well, firstly, there is no sea view in any room, although it is stated everywhere.
Secondly, the territory is very cluttered, the king size bed is two mattresses connected, the sockets are inconveniently located, everything is somehow tired. The breakfast is a C (bacon is overcooked to a wooden state, the milk in the coffee was sour). The shore at low tide is very rocky.
Pros: good air conditioning, lots of towels.

The images on the advertising are really , really deceptive . We were at Sea Sand Sun from Nov 30- Dec 10 ,2023 with two other couples so we had three of the villas - the entire place looked nothing like the pictures in the advertisement / reservation page - this includes the bar , eating area , rooms, lawn dining, entertainment/ stage area . It looked like it was being rehabbed /reconstructed while we were there . All of our group were completely disappointed with this resort and no refunds are provided - so you are stuck with staying here once you arrive. The good news is the resorts on either side of Sea Sand Sun and down the beach have nice eating establishments , bars , live entertainment and are all located on the beach front . The pool at Sea Sand Sun was large - so I guess that's a plus , but other than that, we would not recommend anyone staying at this resort .

It’s taken us 5 months to calm down to write this review, I shall be brief. We were here for our honeymoon. Put in an apartment rather than the Suite we paid for. Only because a man who worked at the venue complained on our behalf were we put in another bungalow. Not the suite we paid for. Our previous complaints were ignored. We were promised a refund due to the awful treatment and service we had, only to have our card re charged later. We were there as a treat for our honeymoon for 2 days, we had to pack and move rooms twice. We were lied to, charged when we were told we would be refunded, ignored. My partner was in tears multiple times. Go to other resorts on this island. Don’t risk it! We’ve travelled a lot. Worst treatment ever.

Bungalow very clean and comfortable. Location excellent as right on the beach. Very close to bars and restaurants. Beach and restaurant areas need to be cleaned more frequently. Overpriced compared to other accommodation in the vicinity.

Beautiful stay at Lanta Halabala. The view of the ocean and sunset is just stunning. Ammy and her Mum who run the resort are so friendly, helpful and sweet. Recommended to rent a scooter as the resort is up a small hill, back from the main road. The bedrooms are comfy and spacious. Great pool and sunbathing spot at the resort. Ammy and her Mum also have an excellent restaurant just down the road called Fatty Chubby which is also highly recommended. Thank you. ☀️☺️

Big spacy room, great beds, powerful A/C. Everything was clean. Very friendly and nice staff. Breakfast on the beachfront. Views from the balcony.

A lovely place to stay on the hill overlooking Khlong Nin and amazing sunset views. When we stayed in January 2023, the owner was just starting to reopen after covid. She started with making two rooms available, as she was also managing her amazing “Fatty Chubby” restaurant just down the hill on the main road. The view is amazing, the pool is nice for a morning or afternoon splash, and the owner and her mother were very responsive to our requests. If you have a scooter, it’s convenient to reach the property since it’s not on the main road. You can walk to nearby 7/11 and Lotus in ~15 minutes, but a scooter is more convenient. The location is great for exploring the southern beaches or going over to the old town. The property is very relaxing with lots of plants, flowers, and peaceful sounds at night and in the morning. Ammy is a wonderful host!
