Nice hotel where parts of the hotel is new. Recommend to only book prime villa which is a new part of the hotel. We did have a Thai Deluxe room and there is nothing deluxe about it but the price is the same as the new part which isn't okay. The hotel is fare from everything and the pier close early so we ended os being at the hotel every night. The staff is so sweet and helpful so we did have a nice stay at the hotel but we didn't expect the city to close down early and the hotel is fare from everything.

A bit remote, however if you're looking for peace and tranquility, then this is THE place. Rooms are clean, spacious, well equipped and serviced daily, the restaurant serves great Thai and western food and drinks at sensible prices, however it closes at 9PM, so if you want to party into the early hours then you need to go outside the resort or probably best stay somewhere else.
We wanted a rest and some quiet, and we were not disappointed. For us, this was like a small dose paradise and and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Far, in a word, very far, very inconvenient if you don't drive yourself
There are no recreational facilities, and the swimming pool is not very clean
Hidden charges, everything except water in the refrigerator is charged, but there is no price list in the room
The service attitude of the hotel staff is not good, and they are unwilling to coordinate if there is something
Will not stay again

The atmosphere is good, but it's a bit difficult to find food.

You have a splendid view over the whole port bay from thai deluxe villa. The bathrooms could use a little upgrade. The rooms are not too much themself but they are okay. The staff is amazing, the reception lady helped us a lot finding taxis and scooter. The location is indeed tricky as you need a scooter (fairly long ride) or a taxi (around 300 baths) to literally do anything. The food is good, breakfast nothing wow. We only spent two nights. Room was decent, and staff seemed very nice, although you’re pretty far away from the busier area with shops, restaurants and bars. Pool is great with fantastic view, and cool to see the monkeys outside our room in the mornings.
Very frustrating end to our stay though upon checking out. As it turns out the staff didn’t document any of my cash payments throughout our stay. My partner and I are absolutely positive that I had paid from our table after every meal, but all they showed me was their CCTV footage of the bar, where of course no transaction had taken place, so I was sort of forced to pay.
Lost £30 out of it, so not the end of the world, otherwise I would’ve given this place 3 stars
I strongly advise you keep track of your cash payments throughout your stay…

We stayed here for 2 nights completely by chance and are so glad we did! A lot of Koh Chang is super touristy and not that child friendly but this place has fantastic views and a wonderful infinity pool as well as free kayaks you can use whenever you like to explore the bay as well as a tiny private beach area (but not as nice as some of the main beaches on the island) which my kids were happy to play in for a little while.
Our room was able to have an extra bed for our oldest and has a huge double door view over Bang Bao bay with a balcony to sit on. However it is not suitable for anyone with any mobility problems or very young children - there’s a lot of stairs to climb up and down from your room to the pool/restaurant which haven’t got any sides etc.
We stayed with a 5 and 4 year old who loved swimming in the pool as well as seeing the monkeys on the roof! Breakfast was delicious too as was our evening meal. This side of the island is so much quieter and for us, we have found that to be a great thing. The kids also loved exploring the little shops and stalls on the Bang Bao pier - only a 10min drive around to. Highly recommend!

Very good service, delicious food. The pool is absolutely delightful. There is a transfer from the hotel to the beach, since there is no beach of its own.

Hotel is far from everything.. we booked it for a birthday weekend and moved to a second hotel because:
- literally no beach
- drinks are made as if they would have been made by myself, but 2 years old
- at least 20 min ride to any cool bar e.g. at lonely beach
- no fair prices for taxi
- beds… bed is so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor
- a lot of simple things like no oat milk for vegans, or just 3 sun beds for entire hotel..
Unfortunately, a bad experience..

Great pool!!
Even if not staying as a guest, you can come and use the pool and enjoy food and drinks for the day. As long as you spend 200 baht per person.
