Reviews
The hostel advertises a “bar” on the top floor, which is quite misleading- it’s really just a small self-service area with limited facilities, not a bar.
The bathrooms were a big downside. They’re dark and dingy, with mould covering the ceilings and a musty smell. They never felt properly clean, which was quite off-putting.
While the Chinatown location is convenient, the hostel itself is tucked down an alleyway that didn’t feel particularly safe to walk through at night. It’s also not very accessible- Grab drivers often won’t drop you directly outside because cars can’t fit down the alley (even some motorbikes refused).
The locker setup was another frustration. They use sliding lockers that are connected to another guest’s, so if their side is open, you can’t access yours. I ended up having to wait multiple times just to get to my belongings.
I wouldn’t stay here again.
The hostel appeared much nicer in the pictures than it was in person. The 4-bed room had curtains, a shelf, light and outlet, which was convenient and made it feel private, but no window, so the room was pretty dark. I was then scheduled to spend several nights in a private room which did have a window, but the room was small and poorly lit. It was inconvenient that the bathroom was on a different floor than my room. I found what I think is the remains of a bedbug in my bed and what could have been some bedbug droppings on the sheets. I woke up with over 30 bites on my legs in the morning. It could have been mosquito bites, and I never saw any live bedbugs there, however given the dead bug, and previous reviews mentioning bedbugs, I did not want to risk another night . Thankfully, the staff reimbursed me for the nights I had booked.
One thing that I faced was during a midnight check-in. There was no one at the front cafe at night, so I had to wait outside until a staff member arrived with key cards. Luckily, a woman came after about 15 minutes and let me in. Daytime check-in is fine, but if you’re arriving late, be prepared to wait for someone from the hostel.
Pros:
Building is spacious.
Working space has AC, and also a great place to socialize.
Complimentary sandwiches are tasty and they make sure its always available .
R/O drinkable water is available at no cost.
Clean washrooms.
Cons
I found my 8 bed dorm quite small, spent 4 nights but my bedsheets weren't change.
Located in congested market space.
What seems as an attempt to create loft vibes, seems more like a fancy prison
Door to bathroom doesn’t close
AC only on for 12 hours a day in working area for digital nomads, but for employees in the lobby somehow for 24h, as if its difficult to work when its raging hot for them but for guests it isnt
Rooms not well designed, for beds being exactly next to door, shaking the bed every time the door opens and closes.
No Towels provided, can be rented i think 50THB but not sure
Stayed for a week, not once bed sheets changed.
Not the same as in the pictures
Bathrooms cleaned daily
Has cafe on ground floor with comfortable seating
Wifi is good
All in all ok for a one - two night stay without remote work, but too expensive for 14 dollars a night for a single bed in my opinion
The common area is truly enjoyable—perfect for both work and relaxation. Coffee and sandwiches make the day much better. The Wi-Fi is stable in every corner of the hostel, and the staff is always ready to help and answer any questions.
Overall, everything here feels well-organized and runs like clockwork.
If I had to mention downsides, it would be the paid towels and the overly aggressive air conditioning in the common area—but these are just minor things compared to everything else.
