Timber Hostel in Bangkok

Location is great ! Breakfast they offer you eggs and fruit but you have to cook it your self😅 apart from that the room quite small but manageable 🥰

Great location, very close to the subway station with many dining options nearby. The hostel is quiet, has a large common area, and includes free breakfast.

The rooms are great, the environment is lovely, and the service is excellent. The location is also fantastic. However, I'd suggest more thorough cleaning of the toilets, as the room I stayed in had a strong musty smell. I recommend using a dehumidifier and more cleaning agents. On the plus side, the free breakfast and coffee were very good! Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back.

It used to be decent, but this time the hygiene was really poor, especially the bed. I wouldn't really recommend it, even though the location is good, right next to the subway. I won't be booking here again. Not recommended.

The location is great! It's right off the subway from the airport, very close to Paragon and Central. Public transport, both buses and the subway, is super convenient for getting around, especially to tourist spots. There's also a cheap street food area nearby, and a 7-Eleven right next door.

The dorm was really damp and smelled unpleasant. The lockers weren't big enough, some people couldn't fit their luggage, and others were inconsiderate, spreading their belongings all over the room, which was annoying, and the hostel didn't do anything about it. The bathroom was shared by both genders, with no separation, and some spots lacked hooks. Overall, it was quite clean, but there wasn't a good place to put toiletries, though they did provide a stool. The upstairs balcony was pretty spacious; it would have been even better without mosquitoes. It was convenient for drinks and snacks, but I never tried breakfast as I couldn't wake up in time. The main issues were that the room wasn't well-ventilated, a bit small, and smelled bad, but other than that, it was okay. The washing machine was 40 baht and the dryer was also 40, and they provided laundry detergent. You needed to bring your own lock for the locker, and you could exchange bath towels for free every three days. There was also a place to hang clothes. Overall, it was decent, mainly depending on the price. If it were the same price, I would choose another place I've stayed at in Silom. Although it was an 8-bed dorm, the room was super big, and it had windows for good lighting and ventilation. Oh, and the Wi-Fi here was excellent, very fast, and worked well in the dorm, the best Wi-Fi I've experienced in a Bangkok hostel.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is super convenient, right by a shopping district and subway entrance, making getting around a breeze. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted delicious. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Exceeded expectations! The landlady was very nice and provided excellent service. The hotel itself was clean and quiet.
