Cacha bed in Bangkok

Great stay in Bangkok. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The welcome drink, a beautifully presented butterfly pea iced tea, was a perfect start to my stay.
The location is absolutely unbeatable: 10/10. The hotel sits right in front of a Blue Line metro station, making it extremely convenient to get around the city, and it’s also right in the heart of the old town!
The only small downside is that the rooms could use better airing. You can still smell the natural humidity of the old building, which is understandable for a heritage property but worth noting.
Overall, a delightful experience with great service, an amazing location, and plenty of character.

price is low. Location is opposite to MRT station, so easy to commute. China market is walkable distance, may be 500m. well decorated. room is big. bathroom has partition, so quick to get ready. Great view from terrace. A small library. from ground floor, you can grab a quick bite like butter Cresent. Two disadvantage: there is no lift. you have to carry your luggage to 4th floor. after each tiring day save some energy to walk the stair case. Cab also mostly drop opposite of the road as it is one way.

We stayed in a bunk bed room. The bed was comfortable. However, some may find the toilet cubicle small. Also, the hotel will need to start cleaning off mould on the walls and ceilings in/close to the showers before it gets worse. It is also next to the main road so traffic noise may be an issue for light sleepers.

Nonetheless, staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also located opposite a bus stop and MRT station.

The lobby serves as a cafe and art gallery for budding artists. The cafe serves good coffee and the gallery enhances the vibe of the lobby.

The rooftop is also a nice to have as there’s chairs and tables for you to hang out and get some air on a good day.

We stayed here as a group of four friends for three nights. The room was spotless, spacious enough, and I didn’t see any bugs anywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect since it’s right across from the metro, and you can reach most of the temples and must-see attractions in about 10 minutes. The terrace was beautiful—make sure to watch the city from there in the evening. Many thanks to the whole team!

Pros: The location is excellent, in my opinion. This property is literally just across the road from Exit 1 of Sam Yot MRT Station, which makes it very accessible. It is also about 1 km from ChinaTown, and around 500m from Ong Ang Canal. The staff at the Kaja Gallery Cafe are an excellent bunch; very friendly and polite. The drinks and pastries at the cafe are also very good. When we stayed there, there was an ongoing art exhibit. I was able to buy a small painting and meet the artist, which was an added bonus during our stay. There is a McDonalds around the corner at the Mega Plaza, which is just a short walk from the property.
Cons: The property is located at a very busy intersection, without any parking space. Taxis are not able to park near the hotel. If you have a lot of luggage, you will walk a little bit as the taxi will drop you off further away from the hotel. This is the same while leaving. You have to pull your luggage to the other side of the road, to Exit 2 of the MRT Station, to be able to flag a taxi or wait for your Grab ride. Most importantly, the hotel does not have a lift and the stairs are very steep. This makes carrying your luggage upstairs or downstairs dangerous and prone to accidents, in my opinion. If you have lots of big pieces of luggage, good luck. And before I forget, there's no fridge in the room. Last, if you're in Room 26, what you'll see outside the window is the construction of the intersection (End of June 2025).

On the road, easy to find, focus on traveling, not on relaxing because the noise on the road is quiet until almost midnight

Very good, totally beyond my expectation. It is clean and sanitary, with good lighting, a big mirror, and good ventilation in the bathroom. It is conveniently located opposite the subway station, and is convenient for shopping. There are many shops nearby.
