The room was very clean and tidy, which made us feel right at home. Even though the bathroom is shared, it was spotless and well-maintained—I was completely comfortable using it, even for longer stays.
What really stood out was the staff. The lady who assisted us was incredibly nice and friendly. Despite the language barrier, she went out of her way to understand our needs and was always proactively offering help or items that could make our stay easier. Her constant smile and positive energy truly made a difference, and we felt very welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout our stay.
The hostel itself is also very secure, which gave us peace of mind. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely book this hostel again if we ever return to Bangkok. Highly recommended!

Stayed for 1 night in their double room with private bathroom. Tidy and clean. Silent to rest with basic facilities. Great location for first time travelers. Definitely recommend.

I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome right away. The rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. I also loved the social vibe, it was easy to meet other travelers and share experiences.

Would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

Stayed in the 2 person dorm for 3 nights in July 2025, and it was great.

The room has bunk beds so was like a private room with a shared bathroom. Location was brilliant, very close to buses and local transport. Because of this the stay is great value for money.

Very close to a local market, with fresh produce and food, which for breakfast. Easy walk into Silom.

Bedroom was clean, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was also clean, although toilet on the 4th floor was broken, leaving only one. But other facilities downstairs so wasn’t an issue. Showers are very high up, so hose was unreachable for me (5”2).

The main staff member was very helpful and let us stay in reception as we arrived early before check in and could keep our bags at reception. Towels provided and was able to do full laundry for 150 baht.

No lift, so be prepared for stairs. Also walls are quite thin so could hear guests talking in the corridor.

Would recommend for budget travellers not looking for a social hostel.

I had a very good stay at this hotel/hostel. The room was nice, clean, and very comfortable, and I felt at home during my time there. The shared bathroom and the common area were also well-maintained and spotless. The location is generally good, although not very central to most major attractions. However, it’s definitely not a social hostel—don’t expect to meet people here. Overall, a great choice if you’re looking for a quiet and clean place to stay.

This is by far my favourite place to stay in Bangkok after coming to the city for a decade now, I used to stay in the party places when I was younger but now I prefer staying in this area of Silom, and cooper is a lovely quiet and clean place to do it. The staff here are very friendly and helpful and the place is well kept with great facilities; there is a kitchen area, laundry and rooftop garden. It is in a cute little alley with a few other hostels and has secure entry as well. The area is easy for walking around with the bts pretty close by and loads of streetfood options, I recommend the soi 20 market in the morning and street food tables in the evening. I cannot recommend Cooper enough if you are a mature traveler looking for a good budget place to stay.

It is clean, has AC in each room that you can control, the beds are nice and they offer morning breakfast.

In the social area, they have a great table to power up phones, laptops and use the Wifi.

There is filtered water available and tea or coffee.

It is located down a small alley and quite. Has flowers and charm.

Location wise, its close to many things, but with the size of Bangkok not close to absolutely everything.

It is safe, secure and recommend.

The room and bed is very comfortable, even for a low rate. The washroom and toilet are impressively clean. Light breakfast is served here. The best part is, the reception @ owner, Miss May, is very friendly and super helpful. She gives good guides for travelling around Bangkok city. Will be coming back here again for sure.

I stayed here last year and remembered i really should write a review.

Very nice clean rooms for a fair price. Impeccable shared bathroom facilities. Best of all is the owner who was incredibly nice to talk to and very helpful. (She drew me a little map telling me how to open the front door as i was arriving after hours.) Charming.

Will stay again next time I'm in Bangkok.

I originally booked a room with Cooper through a booking site. Unfortunately they were overbooked and the owner did not have time to remove the vacancy from the site. When I arrived the owner found me a new room down the street which was a higher price, she paid the difference and walked me to the new property. Thank you so much for the outstanding service, even if I did not get the chance to stay at you lovely property!
