Reviewing only the restaurant because didn’t stay at its place.
The restaurant is crowded even on Monday esp. from 19.30 hrs. onwards and most of the customers are foreigners.
There are a lot of foods and drinks to choose from and not that expensive. Out of which I tried, it is a 7.5/10.
The place is non air con, not too loud and its decoration is ok.
What I found rather surprisingly impressive is the cleanliness of restroom.
I received a warm hospitality from the owner and good service from the waiters.
It may be more suitable to not drive there.

Super little restaurant. It's always got people here, day and night. Food is good, beer is cold, and decor and layout are warm and welcoming. Absolute recommend. Came here every day once I found it.

I’ve known this establishment for several years now. I’ve eaten here many times, I’m a regular customer, and I’ve never once been disappointed by the quality of the food. That part is rock solid and deserves to be said upfront.
This time, however, I’d like to add a review about the rooms—more specifically, the Korat room. In all honesty (and with no malice intended), it is without question the most bizarre room I’ve encountered in over 30 years of traveling across Southeast Asia.
The concept is… bold. The ceiling, the walls, the floor, and the furniture are all black. Completely black. Despite this, the room is actually quite spacious. It has double glazing, which means absolute silence from the street—an impressive and very welcome feature in Bangkok. The bed and bedding are genuinely comfortable, and the bathroom is large, spotless, and well maintained.
Now comes the part where things take a turn into what feels like a deleted scene from The Hangover. The room contains statues of decapitated figures, mouths wide open as if frozen mid-scream. In the center of the room stands a wooden console suspended from the ceiling, surrounded by amplifiers, speakers, a mixing table, and a television. Everything is disconnected and clearly no longer in use, leaving one to wonder what kind of past life this room once had.
It feels like an architectural UFO—part hotel room, part abandoned nightclub, part art installation. Slightly unsettling, undeniably eccentric, but also oddly memorable.
That said, this is Bangkok. Eccentricity comes with the territory. If you’re curious, open-minded, and have a sense of humor, the Korat room will definitely give you a story to tell. And regardless of the room choice, the food downstairs remains excellent, as always.
Would I recommend the place? Absolutely.
Would I recommend this particular room to everyone? Probably not.
But if you enjoy the strange, the unexpected, and a touch of madness—welcome to Bangkok.

The service is amazing! Always that warm thai smile from all of the staff! I would really recommend the Mai Tai's!!! We stayed here for three nights, after a long day of Bangkok it feels like coming home and the food is amazing! Thank you for giving us the famous Thai warm welcome. As a travel agent myself, I would classify this hotel definitely a hidden gem in Bangkok!

Didn’t use the hotel but did eat here due to how close it was to our actual hotel and the food was beautiful. The Khao Soi was beautiful! The right amount of spicy and the way the chicken meat just fell of the bone, delicous 👌👌 and the bar staff were just the friendliest, nicest people ever ✨

Stayed for 2 nights and everything perfect. Stayed in Korat room. Very spacious and comfortable and a great shower. Great value for money. Didn't eat in the restaurant this time but I have previously and food is very good. Location is fine for me but may be a bit out of the way for some. You won't find better value in Bangkok. Highly recommended. Very helpful and friendly manager.

Came here several times during our stay for very delicious Pad Thai! They also offer an „extra“ portion in case you are very hungry.

Very noisy until late at night, quite inconsiderate to the hotel guests and neighbours.

Loved the food. Worth the money spent. The burger and the ice cream is a must try. 😁

Everything was perfect !! Very good quality for value. Good location.
Very beautiful room, quiet, a lot of space good equipments. Bed very confortable. Real curtains (can't find that a lot in Thailand...)
The Maderla restaurant downstairs is very good also.
And the staff is so friendly. We will definitely come back if we can.
Thank you for everything.
