Highly recommend this place if you want something that's locally owned. the owner was very helpful and very nice. It's in a great spot to be able to walk anywhere in downtown Bangkok. it's off the beaten path and in a quiet little neighborhood.

I've stayed in a few places in Bangkok and this was by far the best value I could find. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff is amazing. I stayed in two different rooms and definitely liked the 2nd floor more than the 4th just because the size of the bathroom was bigger but besides that there wasn't much difference. The location is great for food and bars.

Very nice staff, main lady at the desk is very nice and gave me late check out etc. easy to deal with, most comfortable bed, good shower, location good and peaceful but centric.

The boss has a good service attitude and explains patiently throughout the process. There are a lot of small flying insects in the bathroom of the room, and there are piles of small flying insects in the bathroom.

A small private hotel with a very good location and convenient transportation, yet quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The room is very clean, the service is very friendly, and the boss is very nice. In the noisy and chaotic city center of Bangkok, this place is like a breath of fresh air.

The hotel is situated almost close to main area such as Sukhumvit Road, you may find a little lost finding it unless some one been here before. I had some issues finding it too with my Grab driver but some how locals there would help you when you ask them. The hotel is clean and i did not find any issues with anything at all but only for the Wifi connections seems to be weak at room #32. Apart from that, if you are looking for a quiet stay than look no more. I truly enjoyed my stay here and i will be back again soon.

This is a nice place and I really can recommend it. It's a beautiful house. The rooms have balconies. I liked that very much. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are a little older than they look at the pictures.But this is really the only not so good thing, I could say.

Pond the owner has set up a really great place for travelers to rest and enjoy the hospitality that Home 16 had to offer. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and great food and beer!

What an amazing Hostel! Centrally located next to sky train and a beautiful park. The owner Pond and her very friendly Dog Sunny were very accommodating. Ponds mango daquaris are great on a hot Bangkok day. Thank you Pond! Can't wait to see you again soon.

I was overall satisfied with my stay at hostel 16. It was clean, quiet and was in a great location, not so far from the metro system (Sukhumvit) which can take you to either downtown and is an easy trip to make to and from the airport.
It is run by an exceptional host, Pond, who made me feel very welcome during my stay there! She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable.
If you are looking for an inexpensive yet great quality accommodation, I would definitely recommend this place!
I cannot fault it one bit and I will definitely return there when I go back to Bangkok in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I stayed here twice while I was in Bangkok and I will come back every time I visit! Pond and her staff were amazing - kind, helpful, welcoming and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend!

excellent value for money! comfortable bed and pillows in room 7. A comfortable, simple, clean place with a very friendly and loving staff! if you like to feel “at home” this is a very homely place especially for bangkok!

No drinking water, buy your own water and there is no water boiler pot.They will not clean the room everyday. However, they have a strong air conditioner, Location is quite good, near Emsphere and very close to seven eleven. Many massage service around

This a nice small shop near the main road. I can't speak to the hostel section, but the food is simple and has great flavor. The coffee and Thai tea were ok, but the good is worth a try. I would recommend the chicken and rice or the small breakfast set. The lady that worked there was beyond sweet and friendly. 09/2023

We didn't stay in the hostel, have only experienced the cafe side but we love it! Fast WiFi, good food, good coffee! We enjoyed dinner and also breakfast at the cafe. Waffles with ice cream for my husband's dinner and I got the stir fried chicken with basil and fried egg - both were delicious. The Thai iced tea frappe was also nice - not super sweet. For breakfast, I got the American style breakfast and he got the waffles set. Mocha and iced latte were both really nice. Staff are very sweet. They also offer laundry services and we thought their prices were very reasonable and they were fast.

Really nice staff. Super clean rooms/bathrooms and great coffee in the café downstairs. Any complaints about not getting coffee with breakfast are just silly. You get free breakfast of eggs and toast and all of the proper barista coffees are half price in the morning so with the price of the room and free breakfast paying half price if you want a coffee aint much.
