No need to explain myself just look at the video/photo and judge for yourself. I asked if it was clean before receiving my key and they said yes. The only hotel in Thailand that I couldn’t stay in. Just clean the room! Do you need to raise the price? Fine! But don’t offer a hotel if you can’t clean it. I had a wonderful time in Thailand and all of my other hotels were wonderful.

Unwelcoming and discriminatory toward Western guests!!!

We are a couple and had booked four nights, but we were forced to leave on the second day due to unacceptable conditions.
The place is infested with cockroaches, as clearly shown in the photos. When we reported the issue, the staff only sprayed insecticide inside the room, forcing us to stay outside at night for about 30 minutes because the product is harmful to humans.
The following day, I woke up with severely irritated red eyes and had to go to a pharmacy for treatment.
From the moment we arrived, the owner’s behavior was inappropriate and uncomfortable. He asked where I was from and, after I told him I am Argentinian, he repeatedly insisted on selling us breakfast for 80 baht. When we politely refused, explaining that in this city it is easy to find better and cheaper options, he made a discriminatory remark, saying:
“What, can’t an Argentinian afford an 80 baht breakfast?”
Despite our refusal, he kept insisting for several hours, even before check-in, and also tried to charge 200 baht for early check-in.
The hygiene conditions were extremely poor. Upon arrival, the bed sheets were stained with semen and urine. When we asked for them to be changed, the cleaning staff entered the room without knocking and behaved in an aggressive and unprofessional manner.
After contacting Agoda, we were informed that the property claimed the cockroach problem had been resolved and that we had been moved to another room.
This is completely false. The infestation was never resolved, and we were never given another room at any point.
Overall, this is a terrible place with unacceptable sanitary conditions, aggressive staff, and disrespectful, discriminatory behavior toward guests.
Strongly not recommended.

A South Indian Secret
Woodlands Indian Restaurant, nestled beneath the Woodlands Inn hotel, offers authentic South Indian cuisine in an unpretentious setting. While the decor is minimal and the shop is quite old, the food is generally rich, flavorful, and very affordable. The staff are Nepali and communicate in English. You can reliably find classics like Idli and a satisfying Fish Curry here.
Dish Highlights
* Palak Paneer: This spinach and cottage cheese curry has a pleasant, creamy texture with no intense heat. Its green hue is notably lighter than other versions.
* Dhal Fry: Despite the "Fry" in the name, this lentil dish has a soupy consistency perfect for sipping. It features a mild flavor, and the lentils are served incredibly tender; served piping hot, it's wonderfully comforting.
* Fish Curry: This curry is a hybrid style that leans slightly towards the Muslim preparation found in Southern India, often featuring a characteristic thin layer of oil floating on the surface.
* Sweet Lassi: The Lassi is freshly blended (not bottled) and prepared to be lightly sweetened.
* Indian Tea: The tea includes a subtle hint of aged ginger and comes pre-sweetened with just enough sugar—making it perfectly delicious.
This restaurant is not one of the big, trendy spots, but many patrons refer to it as a "secret spot." I appreciate that I can always get a seat without having to wait, as it never gets overly crowded.

Bad experience, unfriendly staff, dirty hotel, we could find rubish around the common areas, noisy hall, shower too old and unconfortable, the room size is ok for the price and the only good thing is wifi works perffectly, the location is not too bad but stores close little bit early

We booked a room for New Year's Eve and NY Day on December 3rd. Reservation was confirmed and credit card was charged. Friends told us that they had been baited and switched here previously and were stuck in the lobby arguing about their reservation and were told they had to pay more because that rate was no longer available. We called the day before traveling to confirm that the room we requested was going to be ready for us. Sure enough, we were told that our reservation was cancelled in their system on Dec 18th because, "the 3rd party site we used overbooked the rooms". She told me it was *******, but that is not the site we used. I asked her to please book me in a different room and she said they had no rooms, but she would put me on a waiting list. Then I called the booking site. They had not received notification that my room was cancelled, it was still active in their system. And I have still not received notification that the room was cancelled by the hotel. I have also not yet received a refund to my credit card for a cancellation that supposedly happened 2 weeks ago. The 3rd party site was very efficient about booking us in a different hotel down the road--a lovely suite with a kitchenette--for a lower rate, but I can just imagine me standing in The Woodland's Inn lobby being told that I don't have a reservation and the only room available to me is $299/night. My concern is that I have now paid for 2 rooms for this weekend, and I have to trust that I will eventually get my refund. As an FYI, when I got off the phone with all parties, I checked The Woodland's Inn website and they still showed rooms available. As did all the other 3rd party booking sites I checked. I wonder how many people they have scammed into paying a higher rate by low-balling their posted online rate and then saying they no longer have a reservation after people show up to check in? They are disgusting.
