Decent restaurant close to the Reclining Buddha. Thai and Western food. Full bar. Accepts credit cards. Friendly service. Good food. Ever the kids or non-adventurous eaters will find something here. We didn't stay at the hotel so can't comment.

Food is great, staff are friendly. Is packed during peak hours however, so may have to wait for seats.

lovely food and drinks at reasonable price just a stone throw away from wat phoa. a must visit if you are an vegeterian as there are not much options plus their veg pizza and thai hot tea is heavenly

Pricing was okay, wait time. For food was pretty long after the first part came out. Ordered Thai chicken salad, Italian sausage pasta, and mushroom veggie stir fry either rice. Portions were good. Dishes were either over spiced or under spiced by a lot. Free WiFi was offered and then shut off. Typical Thai options as well as some western items. Good if youre really. Hungry other wise try somewhere else
Jimmy
The menu consists mostly of 'Italian' food that does the trick but not much else. Prices are a bit higher than the local businesses and the staff aren't all that attentive. At least this place is open early and near Wat Pho.

We ate here in early 2014. It was a memorable meal, with the best green curry I've had in years. The pasta dishes and other curries eaten by the family were also great. The atmosphere is quaint, with a 19th century French cafe feel. The gelato was great also. The only reason its not 5 stars, because it was pricey, even for Bangkok- more like US prices. But if your visiting the palace or temple and need an easy place to eat, try Arom. I'm sending a team of medical professionals there because I know they'll love it.

Excellent position. In front of the wat Pho temple and pier n.8.
Nice and clean room. People are welcoming
A good adress to visit Bangkok

Spent 5 nights at this hotel a couple of weeks ago and stayed in the room Jade. Nicely decorated and clean, bed was comfortable and we had all the essentials (aircon, safe, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and also 2 bottles of water included every day) and a small terrace. Unfortunately it was facing the street so the noise was quite bad but after midnight until morning it becomes bearable cause there's not a lot of traffic. Walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbours a bit. The location is the best thing if you want to see the temples early in the morning, because it's just opposite the wat pho, close to the grand palace and next to the river to go to the wat arun and there's also a brand new underground station(sanam chai, blue line MRT)just 5/10 minutes walk from the hotel that connects you to other parts of the city. Didn't have breakfast included so can't say much about that but prices seemed a bit more expensive compared to what you can find elsewhere but I guess that's normal next to one of the main attractions. Service was good,we had a problem setting up the safe the first day and the staff was very helpful. The room wasn't ready when we arrived because it was too early but they kept our luggage stored until check in. Deposit was asked upon arrival of 100THB for the room key.

Great location, across the street from the Temple of The Reclining Buddha. Basic amenities, but had everything we needed. I felt it was good value to money. Our room was on the third floor, no elevator, not appropriate for handicapped or people with limited mobility. Two mattresses on the floor, shower, toilet, TV, air conditioning. Everything very clean, staff courteous and helpful but be ware of misunderstandings: They ordered us a taxi to the airport, but it was to the wrong airport, so we missed our flight...they have a little restaurant there, we didn't try it.
Hans
Nice place to enjoy your cup of coffee
Catalin
Great coffee shop with good coffee selection
