I stayed in a solo bunk bed room and honestly had such a good time. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. The price was super reasonable too. The area was safe and peaceful. Close to many tourist attractions.

It's very close to a 7-Eleven. The receptionist doesn't speak English, so communication is a bit of a challenge, but the location is good, and it's convenient for buying breakfast in the morning. Safety: Relatively safe. Facilities: Shared bathroom is okay. It's barely acceptable, but don't expect too much.

Great place to stay, very clean and tidy and new! Stylish environment and well finished in a combination of contemporary and traditional Thai styling. The owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Cheap hotel in a good location near the palace and temples. Rooms were clean, shower was stingy with hot water, wifi wasn't great, you get what you pay for.

Really nice and adorable hostel. Can be a bit difficult too contact someone, as the reception is left empty most of the time. But great location. Cosy, local street. Hostel is kept in an industrial look with concrete feeling - really nicely made. We DO RECOMMEND this place, and we will be back too.

It's very central near the Victory Monument and trains and buses by the VM. Cold AC, sitting area, free hot drinks.

Good price, good location. Rooms are somewhat grim - all is gray and unfinished - walls, etc. Somewhat like a dungeon feel. But the place feels new, AC is good, windows open, and the bathrooms are nice.

Great place! It's clean, looks good and people here are very nice and helpful. We are definitely going back when we're in Bangkok again and we recommend it to everyone who doesn't want to live in noisy place full of noisy drunks. It's the opposite here!??

Nice hostel in a cool relaxed area close to kaosan, great local food options. 270 baht x night with a standard breakfast. Nice table to work, but man... they have the water pump set next to the table in the common area... seriously, the noise is no joke!!

Nice little hostel in a very cool little neighborhood within walking distance from Khao Sanh. Not social at all (mostly Asian travelers) but comfortable and quiet. Good if you wanna just lay low on your own. Breakfast was a bit too stale for me, but others might appreciate it. No towels provided.

If you're staying only for a cheap price this is perfect. If anything else is your primary requirement then this is not for you.

I stayed here for just one night. The atmosphere is cozy, and the social area makes it easy to meet other travelers. The dorm is decent, but it doesn’t have privacy curtains and the luggage space is limited. The bathroom is outside the room—there are only two per floor—and the cleanliness could be improved. I stayed here while traveling. It had a complicated structure, with multiple buildings connected. There was a rest area in front of our room, so we were able to change rooms as people were talking too loudly. The bread at breakfast was delicious. It might be a bit inconvenient to use as a base for sightseeing.

I honestly didnt stay here but rooms look to be great! We needed a place to stay because the bus dropped us in the terminal at 4am. Everything was close 😣 we went here thinking they might be open. But no one was around. But just right outside, we can get internet signal. We used it so we can plan for the day and see what coffee shops are open (we dont have Thai sim card). This guesthouse has a very backpacker-friendly vibe, and I highly recommend it! I mean, 500 yen a night is an unbelievable price! It's perfect if you just need a place to sleep! Killer location if you know that busses 1 and 77 can take you virtually everywhere you need to go. Quiet at night as well. Cheap Indian restaurant close by and a couple of vendors selling good street food.

This a nice small shop near the main road. I can't speak to the hostel section, but the food is simple and has great flavor. The coffee and Thai tea were ok, but the good is worth a try. We didn't stay in the hostel, have only experienced the cafe side but we love it! Fast WiFi, good food, good coffee! We enjoyed dinner and also breakfast at the cafe. Waffles with ice cream for my husband's dinner and I got the stir fried chicken with basil and fried egg - both were delicious. The Thai iced tea frappe was also nice - not super sweet. Really nice staff. Super clean rooms/bathrooms and great coffee in the café downstairs. Any complaints about not getting coffee with breakfast are just silly. You get free breakfast of eggs and toast and all of the proper barista coffees are half price in the morning so with the price of the room and free breakfast paying half price if you want a coffee aint much.

100% the best Cheap hostel. We paid 5€/night got early check in and late check out plus incredibly friendly staff at the front desk. Ac was working and there’s a 7/11 right next to the hostel. Very recommended!

Hygiene and environment are OK

The location is good. It is more expensive than many hostels in the Khaosan area. I wanted to experience the different price ranges. But I found that this one is similar to other 30-yuan hostels. There is no cost-effectiveness at all. There are more European and American guests.

I lived here 4 years ago, but now the owner has changed, breakfast has been cancelled, and the living experience is not as good as before. It is ok for a short stay, and there is a 711 downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping

It is a clean hostel with a very reasonable price. There is a housekeeper cleaning all the time. The receptionists are attentive to customers and treat them like family. The bathroom is clean and separated for men and women. There is a place to hang clothes with hangers and a washing machine. I give it a full score of 100. The transportation is also convenient and comfortable.

Not bad for the price, location very good, cleanness is okay. I just stayed for one night and didn’t really spend much time in the hostel. The receptionist I met there is not very welcoming though. I wouldn’t stay in this hostel again because of her.

Very gentle and kind service. Nice and properly-priced rooms from what I gather - although I didn't enter, I was just here for coffee and to cool down for a sec. Their pastries are quite good, but the best thing was the very beautiful soul of the people tending the place.

Great location. Slept here for one night because I flew out the next morning. Hostel is located on the 7th floor. The hostel is 50 meters walking from the skytrain which is a very convenient way to go if you are traveling to or from the airport.

The place is clean and open, but it is on the rooftop so the common room can get extremely hot during summer. Nice place for backpackers if you don't mind sharing the bathroom with others because man and woman using the same bathroom

The place to be when you are in BKK. It is close to the temple and to the party area. It is clean and quiet. The owner is very funny. I always go there when I'm in Bangkok.

This place is okay but overpriced as it's not particularly clean, has cold showers, and says breakfast is included but it's a pretty bad breakfast. Air con was definitely a plus, it's not a bad place but should be 5-10$ less per night than what we paid considering other hostels in the area.

Khaosan Lovers Hostel is really nice place. Close to busy Khaosan street, but quite outside so u can rest after party as there is really quiet street. Owners are really friendly and easy going. U can bring yr own alkoh.and drink in front of hostel or on the rooftop. Clean and budget place.

Very well priced and in good location. One of the nights there was no air and to much heat in a room where we were 12 and 3 snored. Impossible to sleep. But good vibes with the people.

The noise was very loud. The staff were drinking and singing loudly, disturbing other guests.

The patio is very nicely decorated and the golden retriever is beautiful and friendly. Note that it is a few houses away from a patch of land where people rear fighting roosters.
