GW Guesthouse in Pattaya

A hidden gem, or at least it must have been at some point, as by now the word has to be out that this is a fantastic place to stay, in an awesome location with attentive staff.

As might be expected some of the street noise does find its way in but as little more than a muted murmur, that at least was for the room we stayed in, on the first floor.

In terms of security I couldn’t be more assured that it a was concern-free establishment. CCTV, an electronic card activated door and a safe in the room, plus the staff are on point.

The rooms were great, clean, a nice night light which I found a tiny bit retro for some reason. The air con was smooth, fridge generous in size. Most importantly the bathroom was modern, great facilities, which sounds perfunctory but nah, loads of places fail miserably at this hurdle despite looking ok online, and here the bathroom and shower were brilliant.

Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it’s in a very convenient location, minutes walk from so many good places to eat, it puts you in the heart of the action whilst giving you privacy and security.
Treat yourself and stay somewhere decent, this is definitely such a place.

Fantastic Stay at GW Guest House!

I had an incredible experience staying at GW Guest House. The rooms were spotless and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. Gary, the host, was exceptionally attentive and always willing to help with anything I needed. He was available at all times, ensuring everything ran smoothly. If you're looking for a cozy and well-maintained place in Pattaya with excellent service, this is the spot! Highly recommended!

It’s a great affordable place to stay for anyone looking to enjoy the nightlife of Pattaya. A great location for gentlemen clubs and other bars if that’s your thing most nights. If you are an early and light sleeper and that is your priority may not be the ideal choice but certainly budget friendly compared to many options.

Silly me I lost my key card the very first day so lost my 1000 deposit. I can’t fault the owner for that because I lost it. The owner did what he could to make me comfortable and took the time to empathize with my needs mostly.

The room was very clean, and cleaned each day, the bed was very comfortable and the shower quite adequate and spacious with hot water. A nice good sized fridge is there. Towels and water were provided daily but need to obtain your own soap.

Highly recommend for budget minded people who want to enjoy the nightlife of Pattaya. The owner is certainly friendly and accommodating and will help you understand Pattaya and get you oriented.

Had a very pleasant stay here for 3 weeks.
The room was very spacious and the bed was perfect for me to sleep in.
The room was cleaned daily and provided with fresh towels.
The owner was always available for a chat and was always concerned about the wellbeing of the guests. If something didn't work, which can happen in Thailand, like the water, the communication from the host was proactive and you could feel that the situation was unpleasant for him even though it wasn't his fault. However, thanks to his endeavours, the problems were always solved quickly.
As it is a street with many bars that are open until late at night, it can be quite noisy until late at night. However, this is not due to the guesthouse, but to the neighbourhood.

The next time I am in this area I will certainly book there again.

Good central location on a busy nightlife based street but you don't hear it. Gary is a very helpful guy who runs a tight ship. Rooms are modern, clean and spacious with fresh towels, soap and drinking water supplied every day. Thanks Gary, I will be back!

Gary is an exceptional host. The rooms are immaculate. You're provided water, toilet roll and towels everyday. The plus is they don't come pestering you to clean the room. Once your out, the room is cleaned. They have a door locking system which makes you feel very safe. There is a safe in the room. Spoilt for choice with the TV, movies, news, plenty, and in multiple languages. Location is spot on, 10 minute walk to the beach. You're 2 minutes from all the action, enjoy
