The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to move around, and the bathrooms feature large showers with excellent water pressure. I also really appreciate the decent-sized balconies, which comfortably fit more than one person—perfect for relaxing outside together. The staff here are consistently kind, courteous, and nothing short of amazing.
Things to Note: The hotel is over a decade old now, so the exterior is starting to look a bit outdated, which is to be expected given its age and close proximity to the beach and the elements. Some interior aspects like the TVs and outlets are also showing their age. Additionally, there is currently construction happening at the Sawasdee Sea View hotel directly across the street. I’m not sure if it’s being remodeled or torn down, but be aware there is some construction noise during the day.
Despite these minor points, the comfort, location, and service far outweigh everything else. I love The Stay and will definitely be back!
Terrible front office, totally lacking in any skills whatsoever. Called for porter but no response. Staff all appear to be waiting for the end.
Lighting in room no good. Even with all lights on, still no good. TV from 1966 doesn't cut it. Screen miniscule, reception blurred. Hey, who want's to watch Sky News AND Fox! Don't really need Murdoch propaganda all day. Ever heard of CNN?
Pillows? Just two for a big big bed. And lumpy!
Stayed here for 8 nights. Room was immaculate. Although it’s not a resort, it is very clean, bed is comfy and the room is modern. The Air Con works great. The breakfast was below average although for the cheap price to stay here, you wouldn’t expect a 5 star meal. Situated in great location to everything (very central). Highly recommend to someone wanting a cheap/nice hotel to stay at.
If they renovate the rooftop pool and put in some new TVs and aircons, it will be a top hotel.
