The Icon Place at Nurn Plub Wan in Pattaya

Pros:
there is a great 24-hour market across the street.

I'll name just a few of the cons:
The rooms are incredibly dirty. Judging by the nameplates on the equipment, the building was built in 2008, and the only repairs that have been done to date were carried out in the same year.

Everything is filthy, from the toilet lid to the mattress and windows.

The building is built along a multi-lane highway. You are guaranteed not to be able to sleep, just as you won't be able to work. Noise 24 hours a day.
There was not a single cleaning in 4 days (I had to ask the administration).
The staff at the counter (the big one. The second one is quite good-natured) is playing a video game on her phone with sound while the guest (me) is checking in. She didn't react to my first comment. A few minutes later (I was waiting for her to finish, apparently), I asked her to put the phone away, to which I received the rudeness and disgruntled face that is so familiar to us.

I booked a room of the category that they consider the next to the standard. It was stated 28 meters + sofa + dining table.
In fact, they settled us in a room of 16 meters (of course, taking into account the bathroom), where the interior is a bed and a wardrobe. At the reception, I had to prove my truth for a long time, showing a photo of the room from the application. In the end, they changed it.
