Bottle Beach 1 Resort in Hinkong

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay.
The way to the hotel is unsafe and extremely steep. There is only a pickup point you can reach by scooter, and from there you have to pay 100 baht per person for each transfer to the accommodation. This feels inconvenient and overpriced.
The bungalow smelled moldy, was dirty, and the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.
In the evenings, the staff were drinking alcohol until they were drunk. They even drove us while being drunk to the pickup point and by drunk I mean wasted!
Furthermore, at night, drunk staff members were walking around the property, which made us feel very unsafe.
During the transfer from the hotel to the pier, the driver was driving far too fast, even though a mother and child were in the vehicle, because the staff’s internal communication about the drop-off order did not work properly. This was extremely irresponsible and dangerous.
Overall, the accommodation is not trustworthy, very unprofessional, and absolutely not recommended. A complete disaster.

We booked 2 days in the resort as location on the beach looked great to us end of December.
We finally did not go there as the resort did not respond any of my messages starting 2 days before arrival about how to get there.
Bottle beach is reachable via Taxi Boat which service was suspended due to bad weather, so we needed the 4x4 Taxi service as also mentioned in the reservation itself.
So I tried to contact via all means, also including via Agoda, but no info. I spent a lot of time to find alternatives without any success

, checking as well recent reviews on Google which are extremely negative We finally decided not to go there and changed our plans.
On the day of arrival we finally received at 10.30 a message that Taxi for 300 Baht person is available from the pier.
This day there where heavy rains and streets flooded everywhere so I have my sincere doubts that we would have ever arrived.
For me looks like a fraud to act in this way. A resort that is nit reachable nowadays what kind of service would have expected us?
So we claimed for cancellation with refund, again no information, and after 4 days finally we get info from Agoda that the resort has not accepted the claim and we have to pay fully.
I also wonder what is the role of Agoda un this case? They offer accommodations that are un very bad shape and act in a very doubtful way...

I stayed there 12 years ago and considered coming back.
It's a great location, but inaccessible unless you're willing to spend 100thb per person, per trip for their smirky taxi driver who doesn't interact with anyone unless you pay.

The road to get there is just too difficult even on most motorcycles.

I'm honestly surprised that there aren't clear warning signs as we kept seeing people about to attempt the downhill run. My motorcycle ran out of power and backflipped on the first attempt to get back up! Staying elsewhere now.

They people are friendly but I can't recommend it. It takes a lot of effort to get there. Yes the location by the sea is nice but there is water everywhere. The rooms are not clean, there are insects everywhere and the beds are hard as concrete. It is terrible to sleep here.
You couldn't even lock the door properly from the inside and there is no hot water.

Don't go there! It's a scam. This place is REALLY hard to access, and then you are there they charge you for everything on top as much as they want. Like 500baht a day for hot watter, 200baht fo a/c. Also they turn off electricity at 6 for everyone so if you were out for whole day you can not even charge your phone. Laundry service is not working and closest is 40min away on the full offroad steep mountain. Also they are not willing to help. After we conplaint to a manager he litteraly yeld and told us to f off.

Scam! Place is nothing like in the photos and they refuse to refund. Also it's super hard to reach it and there are no services around so they charge you for stuff like hot water 500baht a day. Also room was filthy. We've found trash inside the bathroom and there were are only 4 sunbeds for like 30 small houses.
