This mini resort might have been cute 25 years ago, but unfortunately the years have not been kind to it. The rooms are so run down and poorly maintained that now they are just plain depressing to be in. This is a successful resort and is generally full, even in low season, mainly because the beach is nice(as Phangan beaches go), so there really is no excuse not to keep up with even basic renovations, especially at this price point. Please see the photo's for a bit of reality. The staff are absolutely lovely, but I moved up the coast and got a large room in a big new resort for an extra $15.

Stayed 13 nights, a large double room which was comfortable and clean. The resort is old, could do with a refurbishment. However, the staff are wonderful and the restaurant is outstanding, inexpensive thai food , we ate there 11 nights ! Overall good value for money, located in quiet area right on the beach. Perfect for sunset.

Rarely have I had such a bad experience with a resort. All the employees walk around with a bitter expression, no smiles. My Thai colleague ordered soup for breakfast. The soup was seasoned several times by the cook with the same spoon (kitchen open to view). A colleague got sick and we wanted to check out 2 hours later until the doctor arrived. The manager wasn't interested and put us out on the street. Unfriendly and callous manager. A nightmare. Never again, even if it's cheap.

I stayed in this accommodation 20 years ago and was keen to go back and see how it has changed. I loved it now as much as I did the first time. It is certainly not for party animals, but if you just want to relax and get away from it all, you cannot fault it for quiet times and relaxation. The reception staff were wonderful and smiley. A great welcome! When I had a problem with my door lock, it was sorted quickly. I had no issues with the room. Although not modern, the room was more than adequate - I loved the storage area and often enjoyed sitting outside reading. There is no TV but no issue as I had programmes downloaded and books. My only request for the room would be a bedside lamp. The public areas were well maintained (although I think some work was going on with some of the units). The restaurant was wonderful in terms of location and food- overlooking the sea - see pictures. All food I ate there was very tasty and reasonably priced. Getting there was easy on the public taxi service and was only a few minutes wait for a taxi to get back to the port. I explored a couple of other bars and restaurants nearby - nothing beats this place, in my opinion. I already want to come back. Thank you to everyone and see you soon.

The most friendly staff! Very helpful. I encountered some adverse events with both my health and the rooms, however, they were always very helpful in finding solutions. It's really this extraordinary service that made me stay here, extend and want to come back. Location is perfect, beach is one of the most beautiful. Very nice garden and places to work.

We didn't stay here, but we came here to eat and drink. The room looked basic but it's very good price. pool is nice and staff that feed us is very nice. Felt very welcoming. would consider to stay here next time visit the island. if you want basic with good outdoor area and beach here is good. but if you want bit higher class, next door is better but price would be like 3 times more. 5 star for their staff.

They're friendly and helpful and kind.
Our room was spacious and we get extras like a fridge, tv, etc.
The location is good, one of my favorites on the island.
It is child friendly. But it's two-sided. If you planning to visit w the kids, you'll like the place. If you would like to use the good services like the great restaurant which can be also a nice place to work, it has its challenges.
I only had two uncomfortable things here, the rainy season - which is during Oct - Nov - there is a chance to find molds. The other is some of the quest's behavior.

5 stars - although please remember this is a 1 star resort. As far as 1 star resorts go , it was really good.
The place is run down a bit , the beds aren’t that great. The management were lovely but the rest of the staff have no English and make no effort to assist. However , great location, cheap as rooms, nice pool.
Restaurant is good and very cheap , staff could do with some training.
Again this is a 1 star resort - for my first experience 1 star , it was not bad at all, we spent 2 weeks there in one room (2beds) 2 adults and 2 kids.
Also if you are wanting to contact them , there English is not the best , but they have WhatsApp and if you text them they can communicate much better in written English than talking on the phone. This was very helpful for booking

The location is fantastic. I was just here for 2 nights as i was still looking for a place to stay near my yoga school. The room is okay for the price you are paying. Its pretty cheap. The staffs are also nice and attentive.
I read negative comments below and i think its not a reflection of the resort at all. As just like everywhere else the tourism business are starting back, if you are expecting Germans 2 star resort, you might want to go back to Germany and spend your holidays. This is thailand and they are recovering, yes the place can look a bit run down but you have other choices too. So if you have picked this one with the price, dont complain like a little spoilt white baby.
For me the one that really bother me was the noise coming from the other guests at night. I would think people would be more sensitive about other people sleeping but they were not maybe wasnt cultured enough.
