Beach: public, sandy beach 350 m away. The second coastal line. Umbrellas and sun beds - for a fee. Between the beach and the hotel is a road.

Very nice place. Right in accessible location. Good staff. And hygiene in room was excellent. Worth staying. Breakfast is to the point. Cab facilities and daily activities can be arranged through or opposite to hotel.

Location is perfect if you are young and want to experience nightlife, and now on as well. Across the street there are a lot of bars, clubs, and strip bars. There are a lot of food, markets and restaurants, massage centers and pharmacist. You’re two minutes walk from our Naga Beach.

It's proximity to beach makes it a good pick. But at night you can hear music till 3 am from nearby clubs. Lot of insects flying on breakfast buffet.
Reception is not very customer Friendly.
When we asked for water, we were told we will be charged extra, if it is provided before house keeping cleaned the room, which they didn't do till 4pm. When the room was cleaned the towels and supplies weren't replenished.
In bathroom the shower could not maintain the right temperature, it would swing from hot to cold to hot by itself. Shower water was coming outside the shower area making whole bathroom wet.
Health faucet pressure was very low.

We were guests at the Verandah Hotel restaurant. We came to have breakfast. The waitress did not seem interested at all that new customers had arrived. She took our order as if she wasn’t interested.
After breakfast, we asked the waitress if we could leave our luggage at the reception for an hour. She agreed. However, when I informed the lady at the reception, she made strange faces and shook her head. She didn’t try to explain anything to us, she just kept making faces.
The quality of the food was disappointing. The eggs benedict had completely overcooked yolks.

Great location if you don't mind a little noise. Excellent breakfast. Super friendly service. And always clean rooms with fresh towels and linens. I've been here 5 times in 2 years and always the best......... It's my happy place!

Great location for the price! Easy to walk to the beach or grab a taxi or long boat. Beds are a touch hard and didn’t feel as neat/clean as the pictures showed. Amazing staff! Attentive and very helpful!

Overall a nice place to stay. The location is great! Near the beach and main street of Ao nang. Guests can use the pool by the hotel next to it (Peace Laguna)
Breakfast is nice. Rooms are just OK, you could get much better standard for the same price but I guess you pay for the location and facilities.

Most of the staff are friendly, good location, bunt most of the time shower' water cold, price is expansive comparing to the service and room

Breakfast is really good for the price. Rooms have ac and usually warm water too. Rooms are big and have TV, still though bit basic.

Stayed here for 4 nights.
Location: Great. Near the beach. Lots of food nearby. Lots of convenience stores as well. Also near the walking street. Just beside a good motorbike rental place, "Mr Kord".
Staff: Extremely cheerful and warm. There have been negative reviews about this guy but we personally think he was fine. Got to admit that he's less cheerful than the ladies though.
Room (ours was room 202): Spacious and clean. WiFi and air con work just fine. Comes with TV (can view Nat geo, Disney channel, movie channel etc), hairdryer, safe, fridge, body soap, shampoo. Does not come with toothbrush etc though. Has a small balcony. Basin is outside the toilet, but don't think it's a big issue. Toilet is a little cramped, but still ok. Water pressure of shower is a little too strong. Water heater works just fine, but hard to adjust the temperature. At night, soft music will be audible. Didn't bother us at all, but might be a deal breaker for light sleepers.
Breakfast: Limited choices. The norm everyday would be bread, cereal, some cakes, milk, coffee, tea, egg (omelette etc). There are some variations each day. Day 1: Ham, hotdog, bacon, pancake. Day 2: You get to choose sets (e.g. Omelette with bacon, pancake, sunny side ups etc). Day 3: Pad Thai with dim sum. Day 4: Fried rice, waffles.
Other facilities/services:
1) Pool/gym at sister resort a few steps away from the hotel. These facilities are small, but sufficiently functional.
2) Airport transfer provided. 150 baht per pax for shuttle bus service, or 500 baht for taxi.
