Reviews
Loved to stay there and definitely would come back. Very friendly and welcoming stuff, nice breakfast. Great location, everything you need is easy access.
The territory looks amazing. Rooms are big and spacefull.
Note: AC was not strong enough, so it’s little hot during day time. Shower head size is more like tailed hand shower and water pressure is low, plus you need to wait for hot water to come. Therefore you are freezing while taking shower.
The bed is very hard like you are sleeping on the floor.
For one we booked the expensive bungalow room. Its outdated, so dark!!! Has spiderwebs and the shower is outside. The tub and sink barely work and the toilet does not flush toilet paper at all!!!
Apart from that there were like 7 mosquitos in the room when we got there and no screens (not to mention the staff member left the door open when showing us around the room and explaining that anything we take will cost extra so more bugs came in).
The next morning after surviving the first night we asked to change rooms but they told us since we had a day trip and were not fully packed that they would move us the next day.
The next day they finally moved us- after explaining there will be no refund to a much more modern room (honestly the whole bungalow thing feels like a total scam that they are actually aware of)
Breakfast was terrible and basically not edible. Its outside and the whole area is just dirty.
When we moved to the modern room we had high expectations but quickly realized also here the toilet didnt work- they came to fix but after that it leaked and there were many bugs and even a lizard as well. Also the bathroom just did not feel clean.
We ended up leaving a day early- they did not even ask how our stay was or why just made sure we knew there would be no refund!!!
Worth mentioning that the onsite spa is absoultly worth it!
But the staff was really great. Everyone is so nice and friendly. We can especially recommend Aut! He is a really good soul and helps you with everything. He organizes tours, helps with transfers, and when we had a private problem, he helped us with his Thai language skills. He is really great, really friendly, and just wonderful! Thank you, Aut!
The location is a big plus: it’s set in a quiet side street, so you’re away from the main road noise, yet still just a short walk to the beach, monkey trail, shops, and restaurants. The grounds are lush and well kept, and the rooms offer everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Some very small issues of maintenance was there, which was also immediately fixed.
Reduced 1 star for room since the resort needs a bit of maintenance.
Reduced 1 star for Service, since I had asked for a birthday arrangement via phone to the hotel. While the response to that was we have all the birthdays and so we will arrange for her birthday decorations, none was done. The reception was neither aware not interested.
Also, the breakfast was just okay.
• Booked a private cottage: Thought it’d be tranquil and spacious—wrong.
The Cockroach Saga
• Walked in and immediately spotted a huge cockroach. We politely evicted it.
• Five minutes later, another one in the bathroom. After a lengthy chase, it was gone.
• Then, a third one appeared in the blinds. That’s when we called the receptionist.
• She sent someone with some generic bug spray—not exactly professional.
• The spray guy found the hiding roach. We suspected they were coming from the sink, so we plugged it with toilet paper. That seemed to do the trick for the rest of our stay.
• Bonus critters: Ants and a gecko also made appearances. Truly a zoo at this point.
Cleanliness (or Lack Thereof)
• The place didn’t feel clean. The bedsheets had dirt—not what we signed up for.
Checkout Drama
• Charged 150 THB for three minibar beers. Matched their records, so I paid.
• As I was leaving, another staff member suddenly claimed it was actually five beers—no record or proof.
• Since I had a flight, I tossed them an extra 100 THB and left. Scam? You tell me.
The One Good Thing
• The pool by the cottages was pretty nice—probably the highlight.
Final Thoughts
• I wouldn’t stay here again. But if you do:
• Skip the nicest room and opt for a standard room on a higher floor.
• It might help reduce the bug problem.
