Ban Punmanus in Krabi City

We were given a huge room and comfortable bed with a balcony, along outdoor space near to the entrance where you can eat and have a morning coffee.

The free use of the water dispenser on each level was really convenient for us.

The location was perfect, surrounded by numerous shops and 7-11s. Less than a 5 minute walk to the centre of town.

The staff / hosts were very friendly and when we had an issue with the shower they came and replaced the whole shower straight away.

The guesthouse itself is quite nice and quiet, but don’t book any tours through them. He lied to me.

The owners don’t speak much English, but with pantomime and google translate we managed alright. Nice to have free filtered water

Minivan: I needed to go to Koh Lanta and I asked 3 times how long it takes since I have read soo many unhappy reviews. He blatantly lied to me, saying 2 hours. Minivan arrives with a guy who already looks extremely unfriendly. Then he starts stopping at places to get things (not passengers) and I demand to know how long it will take. 4 hours, instead of two!!! He obviously plans to do unrelated pick up stops. I got out and went to the ferry instead. Don’t care about the lost money and higher price, but I‘m not spending 4 hours on the road with such a guy being carted around like I‘m a delivery package too

Such a beautiful property and impeccably clean, located in a quiet area of Krabi.
I really enjoyed my stay there. I wish I could stay longer.
My room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. One of the best rooms I had throughout my time in SEA.

I originally came to this hotel for one night but ended up extending my stay to six. The hotel was freshly reopened in mid-March 2025 after renovations. The bedding is very comfortable, and the bed itself is super cozy—I slept like a baby. The air conditioning is brand new and quiet. The area is also very peaceful, with only some occasional animal sounds from the river side. Instant coffee is available.

One downside was the lack of bottled water. The water available in dispensers in the hallways had a slight plastic taste.

The price is very reasonable, and you can book a long-term stay at a great rate. The staff is fantastic. If I ever return to Krabi Town, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again because of the excellent balance of price, comfort, and location. It’s just a short walk to the city center.

10/15 min walking from the city centre but still close to shops and 7eleven. Host super super nice always a kind smile and helped us to sort out problems with the ferry!!! Would come back any day

Great place to stay in Krabi. Staff was overly kind and helpful. Tickets and transportation available at very good prices.

Location was perfect. A few minutes walk to the walking street and night markets. Center of town is right around the corner. 2 min walk to 2 different 7-11s.

Breakfast and lunch spot right out the front door. Or at the hotel itself.

Very kind and helpful staff, located about 800 meters from the night market and city center. Large and clean rooms, great value for price.
