Ban To Guesthouse in Krabi City

The location is excellent, as there are no noisy bars or roads nearby. You'll sleep soundly at night, with only the soothing chirping of cicadas to be heard.

There are plenty of affectionate cats on the property, who will happily escape the heat in your room. The manager is pleasant and speaks excellent English.

Air conditioning is available for an additional fee, but the room has a ceiling fan, which will keep you from suffering. There was no hot water in our room (or we couldn't figure out how to turn it on), but in this heat, that's not a problem.

Overall, it's a very quiet, pleasant, and comfortable place to while away a few nights, but it might be a bit cramped for a longer stay.

It's kind of like an amazing ittle retirement village. Where people go to visit and chat with the residents who are generally too young to retire but have opted for the quiet life anyway. All the residents are enjoying the amenities and want to welcome you to their abode and invite you along to play games, have a drink, tell you where places are and share a beer. The rooms are simple but clean, the food is great, the coffee is good, the cats are friendly and the guests are as warm as Ya Ya. I have no idea how to spell her name, but she really is quite clearly the glue that holds it all together. It is what it is. A solid Thai family run guesthouse. Right near the little Walking Street and food court with some splendidly confident local performers. And close enough to the river to take a stroll and possibly even get a boat to tour the karsts and mangroves. Good to have something that requires no planning right in the doorstop. Oh, and play your cards right, and they may even get the Nintendo bowling out. Thank you for a lovely stay.

we stayed there for around 10 days in the end and was genuinely sad to go, such a lovely family that run the place, they helped us out well above their responsibilities, the place was relaxed, affordable and above all very friendly and attracted a nice crowd, next time i'm in krabi i'd definitely stay again

Excellent value for money. Great location. I had a room on the ground floor with a fan. It was quite comfortable for four days, but if you want to stay longer, I recommend a room on the upper floors with air conditioning and a closet.

There is a great little restaurant onsite which is very reasonably priced and you can get a beer or smoothie.
The room was comfortable and clean, and I had a hot shower. Made to feel at home and like 1 of the family

The manager is very attentive and very professional.

The Baan To guesthouse was a great place to stay. Rooms, resturant, scooter rentals, and activity bookings all on site! Very walkable location to reach night markets, temples, and other food options. We rented a scooter while staying with them and we were given a very good scooter with no deposit required. We drove it 50km per day going to beaches and other nearby towns with no issues. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

Yaya is mega helpful. Rooms very comfortable and good shower. Coffee and breakfast is also delicious and good price. Scooter hire is cheap and Yaya can arrange transfers to other islands easily too. Stayed twice there during my stay in Thailand.

It was really like home for us... simple clean rooms and washrooms , Will visit there again and again... i am missing my time I had in Ban To ..... Lots of Love from India ....
