tonsai beach is beautiful and there arent many people. we saw monkeys with their babies and hornbills almost every day. the resort had a nice big pool and the rooms were also very nice but we had a tiny hole at the bottom of our shower which lead to a big cockroach being in our bathroom one time. after that we stuffed the hole with toilet paper. we also didnt have energy from i think 10am to 5pm which...

This a pretty basic hotel and it’s not as trendy as some of the others in the area. But it is extremely affordable and a great choice if you’re traveling awhile and are trying to be on a budget. Clean comfy rooms, good AC, excellent location near all the action, and very friendly staff. Wi-Fi would cut out occasionally but otherwise no problems.

Fabulous little hotel, very well priced, great staff and right in the heart of town. Rooms large and clean and comfortable with balcony. Has all you could want, safe, fridge and air conditioning. Many bars and restaurants just outside and a laundry less than five minutes away. For a budget hotel it tucks all the boxes, would definitely go again.

There were four of us and we had a bunk bed room. The price/performance ratio was good. The room was at the very back of the resort, far from the pool and chill area. The accommodations at the front made a good impression. We didn't spend any time there and were just out and about, so it was fine for us.

We didn't stay here, but we visited their restaurant frequently during our time in Railay. The food portions were generous, and the prices were affordable. If you dine here, I recommend trying the Pad Thai or noodle soup!

Went rock climbing for half a day with King Climbers at Railay Beach. Was super fun, well organised and as someone who has not climbed outdoors before, felt well supported to do the climb with seasoned instructors guiding us up along the route.

Cute bungalows with a beautiful view, nestled on a hillside practically in the jungle. Monkeys roam around. This would be a slice of paradise if it weren't for the almost constant roar of local boat engines. Earplugs don't really help, so getting a good night's sleep is unlikely. Quiet place with some obscured views of the waterline. Pathways were slippery and extremely sketchy, communication about services and amenities was minimal and the note about hot water being available sometimes = no hot water available during our stay.

Great hotel in a fantastic location, just off the main road, so it’s close to everything but still quiet. The rooms are modern, stylish, and comfortable, with good air conditioning. Overall not bad. Limited parking lots available and staff is helpful. However the stay not worth the price. The room has a humid smell with sticky floor while bed is hard and has squeaking noise. We dont feel relax and comfortable staying there which is below our expectation with the price paid.

Great little place. Just off the main *****, within a 2 min walk to the beach. Staff were lovely, even helping out when we couldn’t find tea bag’s…  Laundry set was great to, 3 kilos done in 4 hours for £3.  We will be  returning and would highly recommend.

The environment here is pretty good, located in front of a mountain. There are about 5-6 hotels along this mountain road, and this one offers the best value for money. It's also quite close to the main street, and on the way there, there's a good restaurant, as well as a nice Indian restaurant.

My wife and I absolutely loved staying at the Ban Sanai resort during our honeymoon. The resort is stunningly beautiful (limestone cliffs, a serene pond with fish and monitor lizards swimming in it, and beautiful landscaping and flowers). We loved the location. It's very close to the beach, a 5-minute walk. The room is okay, a bit old but clean. For this price, it's the cheapest near the beach. There are many places to eat, drink and have fun downstairs, and a 7-Eleven is just across the street.

I stayed here for 3 nights in a room with fan. As the window of the room was only to a floor it was really warm in the night. The accommodation is in a side street. Avatar was a really nice place to stay, especially with the warm welcome from Moo at the check in desk. We had a late check in and Moo made us feel like VIPs when we checked in. By the way, it’s very easy to take a longtail boat after dark from Ao Nam Mao pier. Though we only stayed one night, it was unforgettable. Highlight of this hotel is the pool with the pool bar underneath the waterfall. Rooms were tidy but are only cleaned (including laundry) every third day which means you could be sleeping on used sheets. Hotel signs say this is for environmental conservation.
