The Ksar Djerba Charming Hotel & SPA in Midoun

Worst hotel ever compared to other 4- and 5-star properties.

The rooms are acceptable, and the renovations are satisfactory. The rooms are also very clean, which was one of the few positive aspects of our stay.

The restaurant staff are among the most unwelcoming and dismissive I have ever encountered. The buffet is very poor, repetitive, and uninspiring, with an excessive amount of pasta dishes and frequent shortages without timely refills.The buffet was extremely poor, repetitive, not delicious and uninspiring, with an excessive amount of pasta dishes. It was frequently left without refills, and the selection was very limited. The buffet was so sparse that the empty spaces between the serving dishes were filled with packets of spaghetti, seemingly in an attempt to make the selection appear more abundant than it actually was.

What was particularly disappointing is that we booked and paid for an all-inclusive package. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that water, coffee, and juice were not included and had to be paid for separately. This is completely unacceptable for an all-inclusive stay and should have been clearly communicated before booking.

The reception staff also need significant improvement. They often speak in curt tones, rarely smile, and generally come across as rude and unaccommodating, as if answering guests' questions is an inconvenience.

The only truly friendly and helpful employees were the maintenance and housekeeping staff.

Throughout our stay, no one ever asked about our experience, the quality of the food, or whether we were satisfied—perhaps because they would not have liked the answers or had no intention of addressing the issues.

Overall, I am very disappointed with what claims to be a ksar. The price may have been attractive, but the overall experience fell far below expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The rooms were clean and nice however our bathroom was leaking water whenever we use the bath tub! The cleaning lady was so polite and came to dry it and clean it whenever we asked honestly. The staff is kinda rude and they don’t even smile at you. The swimming pool was nice and the food was okay . The location is attractive.

*Hotel : 1/10 without supervisors no one care about the guests no one give you help no one show you the rooms or even take your luggage.

*Maintenance: 1/10 the rooms full of water smell disaster from the bottom of the floor .
*Reception: 0.5/10 they are unfriendly they don’t care about the guest for them money first and then the comfort of the guest
*Animators: 0.2/ 10 disgusting and ashamed they are very loud shouting and they send the guest for getting beers and drinks .
*Restaurant: 7/10 the food is good delicious and the personal are also kind .
*Bar : 7/10 people are very kind and cheerful specially in swimming pool bar Kerim and Ali *Location: 7/10 good location .

Unfortunately the hotel has many minuses, it is a poor 4 star place. Today a worm appeared in the food and that was too much to write a bad review. The vacation was not cheap and I did not expect that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

I don't know where to start.... Maybe the good part: - food is made fresh and are local dishes - restaurant / cleaning staff are very friendly and doing a good job - Location close to the beach That's it. Bad parts Staff - some staff will pick food infront of the guests and will cut in line - reception... lol, do not try to ask anything from them! They will say no and give no explanation. Just rude. - not a big fan of animation team but that is just personal preferrence. They were friendly otherwise - some employees seen smoking and trowing away cigs / napping on guest chairs Beach: - they have beach spot. Which is poorly kept. We had baby with us and there was a lot of glass and trash EVERYWHERE Hotel: - Pools are ok - But many benches are broken - Cigerattes EVERYWHERE and I mean it you can't look at the grass and not see cigarettes - our room was ok but leaky AC / and moldy walls Overall this hotel has a massiv management problem. No real direction for staff. They are friendly but most of them not trained to any standard of a four star hotel. I don't have super high expectations for every hotel. But this has been one of the worst. Like they are lying into your face and and are not ashamed by it.

Reception needs attention Restaurant is ok service in restaurant is awesome But reception has an attitude Overall rating 2 stars No lifts no fridge The only thing that gets this place 2 stars is the landscaping and food If it happens and you stuck in this place Don’t miss the massage session it’s worth every penny Ask manal she knows what she is doing
