Acroter Hotel & Spa Datça in Datca

Based on our recent stay at the hotel, I would like to offer some constructive feedback. Although we opted for an all-inclusive package hoping for a relaxing few days, we found the overall experience slightly underwhelming, particularly concerning the dining options. Regrettably, the quality of the meals did not meet our expectations, leading us to seek dining options elsewhere despite having prepaid for all meals at the hotel. For future stays, guests might find better value in choosing accommodations that offer only breakfast, allowing for more flexibility with other meals.

**Positive aspects:**
- The location is ideal for those seeking tranquility, nestled 20 minutes by car from the town center.
- The rooms are spacious with pleasing views.
- Ample parking is available.
- Prompt resolution of the few minor issues we encountered.

**Areas for improvement:**
- **Dining:** The bread was only fresh on one occasion during our three-day stay. Both lunch and dinner menus were repetitive with the same appetizers and salads daily. Unfortunately, the desserts also lacked variety and freshness.
- **Meat Dishes:** The distinct taste of mutton in many dishes might not appeal to everyone.
- **Side Dishes:** The Turkish rice and bulgur were often dry and undercooked, possibly indicative of ingredient quality.
- **Hygiene:** Our room was not cleaned during our four-day stay, nor were towels replaced. Additionally, the cleanliness of the coffee machine and toaster at the bar was concerning.
- **Service:** We experienced overly prompt clearing of dishes before meals were finished, which occurred consistently throughout our stay.

We hope this feedback will be useful for future improvements and thank you for addressing the minor issues quickly during our visit.

This is the first time I've been to such a disgraceful hotel. I think the people commenting here are just doing it amongst themselves. They're making food that would leave you hungry for your money. They had these dishes almost every day: beans, chickpeas, fresh beans, pita bread, and turkey. Neither the kids nor we could eat properly, so we had to try to fill our stomachs with cold appetizers. There's supposed to be a tea and cookie time, but we didn't see it. It was over in five minutes because of the crowd. The staff were talking amongst themselves about the customers, which was very unpleasant. The room was clean, but you can barely find tea during the day, and the machine is always empty, and it's never replaced. They've reserved a single pool chair for patrons. There are already four, so one is reserved for patrons. You go to the beach and even get water on the sun loungers that come from outside. It's a shame to come here. I'm surprised by the well-reviewed reviews.

We went to the hotel in July 2024 with Jolly Tur with an early reservation. We were given a disabled room. The bathroom and toilet in the room were different. We objected to the lady at the reception, but unfortunately we got the answer that our rooms were full and they didn't have any other rooms. Of course, this hotel had done this to us 3 years ago. At that time, they had given us a standard room for which we paid the price of a superior room. We objected then too, and after some time, we finally found a room. The lady at the reception, instead of resolving the issue, just said "I'm not talking to you anymore" and the manager came. As a result of our objections, another room was arranged with a 1.5 hour delay. The manager was also sullen. Both of them's solution-oriented and unfriendly approaches managed to alienate us from the hotel. The manager even said something like "We would have changed it, why are you still not satisfied". Only the business manager was respectful and friendly. In the end, we do not recommend this hotel, its hygiene is very poor.

Not one to write bad reviews but this place deserves a true account of our stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing is worth it. The food is plentiful but very low quality. The rooms are basic and if you are going in Summer, the A/c does not work well. The beach is close access and the swimming pool is ok but when we were there (during a weekday), it was over populated. The location is not great either… 20 mins from Datca and nothing close by to walk to.

Book only if you can get a fantastic deal and plan on just being at the beach. Better to eat elsewhere.
