Mell Hotel in Trabzon

Its a beautiful view and great staff but the shower in my room is clogged the water was not getting away; it was in the 3rd floor and under the bed was very dusty and dirty.

Very elegant and comfortable hotel, excellent breakfast, perfect stopover

I stayed here for one night as part of a group tour. Despite being on the highway, the rooms were quiet and I didn't hear any traffic noise. I didn't hear noise from any of the other rooms either and the room doors were NOT the automatic ones that slam shut every time they are opened. The room and linen was clean and had all the normal bathroom amenities. My only complaint was that the shower head sprayed everywhere and needed to be cleaned and the sink clogged somewhat. If I had stayed more than one night, I would have told reception and I'm sure they would have fixed it. They accommodated our group by opening the restaurant 30 minutes earlier for breakfast. There was great variety of food available and everything was delicious. I couldn't find any milk for my tea (I don't like that coffee mate stuff). There was a young woman putting out the food and through sign language she was able to understand me and soon brought out a small pitcher of milk for my tea. It was greatly appreciated. Fantastic hotel. I had the best night's sleep since my arrival in Turkiye five days ago. Thanks

Nice and clean hotel, with a good location…
But there is no employee to support in carrying the bags. The breakfast options are very limited.

Very Nice hotel with great views
A very nice modern and luxurious hotel near the airport and the Black Sea; in fact, all rooms have a water view. The breakfast buffet has lots of options and there's a cook to make custom omelettes for a reasonable fee. The coffee wasn't very good, thank goodness for Nescafe.

The hotel does not serve dinner or drinks, and unfortunately it's in a restaurant desert. For good food you need to go into town by taxi (app 300 Tl in October 2023) or by minibus (16.5 TL). You can also drive your rental car if you are comfortable with limited parking.

The hotel has an elevator as it is 8 stories tall.

The hotel fronts a busy highway which makes getting to the sea a challenge, although there's a pedestrian bridge about 200 meters away.

As an added bonus, you can see down the runway at TZX and watch planes take off and fly over your head at about 500 feet during breakfast!
