We really liked this traditional Turkish house located in the attractive old roman town area of Kaleici. We had a room with a terrace overlooking a courtyard where a very good breakfast was served. We stayed here for a few days as a first visit to this part of Turkey. The hotel is in the old city and a short walk from restaurants, bars and the sea. This is a good hotel for a short, one-night layover – and that's pretty much all it's good for. A definite plus is the very friendly and helpful staff, who genuinely strive to make your stay easier and respond quickly to guests' needs. This is a major plus, especially for short stays. Price/performance hotel. The staff are amateur but well-intentioned and ready to help. We came to Erciyes to ski and since the mountain hotels were too expensive, we stayed in the center of Kayseri and made the round trip, 28 km away from the mountain. The missing items in the room were brought quickly and without objection. The breakfast was average in taste and sufficient.

Great location – but room 103 stinks! Warning: Room 103 stinks incredibly! The hotel knows about it but can't/won't do anything about it. We spent one night there because of its proximity to the beach. I would never have spent a second night in that room under any circumstances. Otherwise, the room was reasonably good.
