The Ercyies area - on the slope of an extinct volcano, is a combination of three resorts connected by old chairlifts, which sometimes do not run. In two resorts, the gondola is the basis. But when it does not run (one day it was broken) you cannot even get to the connecting cable cars. Cable cars - Overall, they are older, slow and usually do not even have a wind cover, so you will get quite cold. The highest cable car is up to 3.5 thousand meters above sea level. Because it is a very windy area, this upper cable car has not run yet this season (until 31.1.2026), both because of the wind, but also because the snow on the slope was blown out. Overall, it is a windy area, cable cars do not run often. Of our advertised 6 skiing days, the cable cars did not run for 2 days. In the previous season, out of 6 skiing days, they did not run for 3 days. Ski passes are point-based, one ride is one point. It doesn't matter the length of the cable car. 50 points is enough for an average skier for about 3 days, for a better skier for 2.5. Because of the wind, consider buying more points for another ski pass (50 points are equivalent to about 75 EUR, a smaller amount of points is a bit more expensive per ride, but you still need to be able to use them, points are not refundable). Ski slopes - mostly declared red, but they have very long runs to the cable car entrance. So because the cable cars are pretty slow, you will spend much more time on the cable car than on the ski slope. You can see snowmaking poles around the ski slopes, but they were never running, even though there wasn't much snow and the stones on the ski slopes were a problem. And not only there, at the exit from the cable car, when you have no way to avoid them, there are simply a lot of stones and they don't even think of throwing a few shovels of snow over the stones there. There are quite long queues at the lower cable car boarding points and the Turks will happily step on your skis, they don't know the ski culture. I really strongly recommend not to take your own skis with you because you would ruin them (also considering the careless treatment of the airport staff). You can rent skis on site, for a week for about 40-50 EUR. Most of Turks can't ski and they will let children on the slopes by themselves. They often can't even turn in a plow but they go on the red slopes. That's why they have a lot of accidents there. There are a lot of children and teenagers there, they fall and you often have no way to pass them. You have to stop and slowly weave through the herd of sea lions. Refreshments are available at the gondola boarding points and at their exits. But there are an awful lot of people there, including walking tourists, because the resort is about 20 km from the city of Kayseri with 1.6 million inhabitants. When the weather is nice, everyone from the city come to admire the mountains view. Arabic music is blaring everywhere, there is a lot of noise. And not just at the refreshments poin

It was a good experienced staying in your hotel. Staffs are so nice, every corner was so clean. Specially kids loves the staff off the kids club room name BüsRA ELMA, she knows how to deal with the kids.

Don't come here, the swine flu is rampant at the hotel, we were accommodated in the hospital there 3 times, the hotel knows it well - I ignore it! It's a crazy flu.

Great option for a weekend of skiing at Mt. Erciyes! We came with a group of kids and adults and everyone was happy. The hotel is lovely, with a nice pool and spa, an excellent kids club (though it is closed on Sundays), good quality rental equipment, and great ski instructors. Our room was spacious and well equipped with nice views. Breakfast was fantastic and dinner was good as well, with lots of options at both meals. Compared to some of the other hotels at Erciyes the price was also reasonable. We've already booked a trip back in a few weeks!

Convenient hotel with better a la carte, easy-going staff and good spa. Hotel itself is approximately 10 years old; so cant complain about age, could be better maintained though. The hotel don’t have the rich Turkish spot, which is excellent so you know you are not going to be ripped-off.

The hotel has everything you need, the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool and saunas are very good. The food is amazing - very tasty and there are endless dishes to choose from. Also great are the shuttles that take skiers to and from the gondola lift - you never have to wait long as they seem to circulate non-stop.

We thought the hotel was a great value. Rooms were nice and roomy; everything was in good condition; breakfast and dinner buffets were included and they were quite good. We also enjoyed the additional services, like the lovely spa with free sauna and steam room and swimming pool. And the ski equipment rental and shuttle to the slopes was super convenient and the staff were very helpful. However we had one experience that soured us on the place and we’ll stay elsewhere next time as a result- we don’t want to suffer from this person’s ire for accidentally angering him/her. A friend also staying at the hotel ordered a cake for his wife’s birthday, to be served at the table after our dinner. They have a one-year old and he wanted his wife’s birthday to feel special. He also brought a bottle of wine, which he did not know was not allowed. When a server informed him it wasn’t allowed, he of course said we would not drink it. We waited for that cake for half an hour while the dining room emptied of all the other customers, and while the 3 young kids in our group ran amok because it was past their bedtimes. We finally gave up and my friend later found out that a manager decided not to serve the cake as punishment for bringing the wine. Our friend was embarrassed and his wife did not get the happy celebration she more than deserved. What a horrible way to treat customers. Anyway, in summary it’s a good value hotel but just watch out that you don’t accidentally break a rule you didn’t know about; your whole stay could be ruined.
