Eyes Of Cappadocia Cave Hotel in Uchisar

We went in May 2026 and stayed for 3 nights.

Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Everything from the room to the view to the service was excellent. We reserved the King Suite, and the room was very spacious and well furnished. Furthermore, we had an unobstructed view of the valley where we could witness the balloon rides in the early morning.

The host of the hotel, as well as all the staff, were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was always delicious and any questions or requests we had were taken care of easily.

We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Cappadocia.

We love lots of things about it. First, location❤️ We are coming first time to Cappadocia and Uçhisar is the best place to stay for the amazing view.

An amazing stay and experience at Eyes of Cappadocia. From the moment we booked to the moment we checked out, their customer service has been second to none.

After booking through booking.com I reached out to the hotel for some requests, which they were happy to do without any hesitation. The morning before we arrived, they messaged me to ask if we needed anything or would like anything specific upon arrival.

1) Location: the hotel is based in Uchisar, which is a lot quieter and more intimate compared to Goreme. There are some steep hills in the area so walking around may not be as easy as planned and some of the food places are more limited around here.

Taxis are very cheap and Goreme is only a 4-5 mins drive. We regularly got the taxi there and back (get your hotel to book and then get a business card from the taxi - then you can WhatsApp call them to book whenever you need). It cost roughly 250 - 300 TL (roughly £5).

2) Hotel setup: each room has a separate entrance, there's no "lobby", which makes it more of an aparthotel setup. Some rooms have their own balcony. The design and setup is very nice and aesthetic. There are shared balconies upstairs to sit and enjoy the view of Cappadocia.

3) Room: we booked the King Suite with Spa Bath (cave room). The room was extremely spacious and very grand. It had a very antique feel to it with the furniture, matching the cave room aesthetic. The bed was comfortable and mood lighting was very relaxing. The room was warm at all times, which was good considering we stayed at a time when the weather was cold (underfloor heating next to the bed). However, the thermostat was confusing to use as the room would get quite warm in the night and the A/C wasn't really enough to combat it. Mistake on my end for not asking the staff how to reduce the temperature, just kept forgetting. Both the room and bathroom were very clean.

The bathroom was spacious and nicely designed. The King Room came with a spa bath which did take a while to fill up with hot water but was still a nice bonus. My only criticism of the room would be that the bathroom could do with some slight improvements:

• Spa bath taps are loose and fiddly

• The shower was difficult to use due to the shower head being faulty.

4) Breakfast: the spread provided by the hotel staff was amazing. Kept us full throughout the entire day. There were various jams, dips, types of cheese and bread, along with any requests for egg dishes (fried, scrambled, omelette, menemen etc). Coffee was great and Turkish tea served too. The hotel were very welcoming and allowed us to heat up any leftovers we had and use the downstairs breakfast area to eat.

6) Customer service: the service from the team here is second to none. From start to finish, they met all our needs and requests with a smile. We were allowed to checkout later for a small fee as well. Despite the rooms being so nice, the highlight of this hotel is their customer service.

7) Activities: we booked the ATV sunset tour through the hotel. I have done a separate review on Buem Tourism. In short, the reviews of their tour seem mainly negative, however, we had an amazing experience from start to finish. Give them a shot, don't judge their bad reviews! Very good price (£30 for 2hr sunset tour).

The hotel also arranged for a private masseuse to visit our room for 1hr. My partner was very pleased with the massage from Bahar. At £60, this was an excellent service.

We were very fortunate to have our wedding at this amazing hotel, and what a wedding it was! The hotel is breathtaking and the views are equally as stunning. The staff did everything they could to make the whole stay truly magical and one that all our guests talk about still to this day! We cannot wait to return to Eyes of Cappadocia and thank you all again for making our wedding celebrations so special ❤️🙏🏻🫶🏻

I recently stayed at this hotel and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the front desk was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. Will stay here again if we have chances.

Our family of 3 spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. It was honestly one of the best hotel choices we've ever made -breathtakingly magnificent views across the valley for miles and miles (perfect spot for watching lots of hot air balloons taking off daily at sunrise) and warm, friendly, helpful hotel staff. Our rooms were clean, spacious (huge bathroom) and beautifully furnished in perfect harmony with the stunning Cappadocia landscape. The substantial traditional Turkish breakfast offered was absolutely delicious with scrumptious varieties of homemade jam, breakfast spreads and cheese on offer.
I thoroughly recommend staying here, we really loved it.

Oh, what can i say about this place!! Magical hotel with a magical view. Imagine waking up in the morning drinking your coffee while watching the air balloons floating over you. They have many rooms, where each has his own terrace. We always stay at this hotel whenever we are in kapadokia. The best thing about this hotel is that each room has its own title and concept. Some include a turkish hanam, some with a hot tub ottoman style. Extremely friendly owner and staff. The breakfast was exceptional, and everything was perfect. My favourite spot in kapadokia, it's very tranquil,romantic, and charming.

The boss is very nice. You can see the hot air balloons from the room, which is great. I stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast was different every day and was delicious.
