Even if we stayed one night, we felt like home. Ayvalik is magic and Cihan hotel as well

The best hotel in Ayvalik.
Clean, central, cheap, with the best view in the bay of Ayvalik, just opposite the island of Cunda and with the sunset just ahead of you in the bay.
Don't go elsewhere for food, you will regret it just as it happened to us. Prefer the hotel restaurant for the quality of the food as well as its prices. You'd be surprised how good and how cheap it is. Of course you will have the sunset, the opposite lights and the waves bursting at your feet when you eat.

I will write from the beginning, I will make a long evaluation. :) We only used the restaurant part of the hotel. When the place recommended by a friend who knows this region for dinner was full, we switched to the restaurant part of the neighbor cihan hotel. We got lucky and sat down to dinner at a seaside location without a reservation. Then we ordered our meals. There is a wide choice of appetizers, fish, meat, and almost everyone's taste. I can say that the prices are reasonable for a place by the sea. Also, since we were on our lucky day, we had a sirtaki night and we came across it. It was a very nice night for us as we experienced it for the first time. We met Murat Abi, the manager of the hotel. I hope I remember his name correctly :) he is a very positive good person. He wanders around the tables one by one. We met his wife while we were dating, and she is a very smiling naive person as far as I can see. Other colleagues working were also very good. So, look at the reviews of many highly rated restaurants, they must have written something negative about the employees. The friends working here were friendly, polite people and the interest was at a good level. We had decided to come and stay for a day trip to Ayvalık, but we wished we had found Cihan Hotel earlier :) We could not stay this time, but we will definitely come again to stay before the summer ends. Ayvalik Cihan Otel and the annexe Elit Otel just nearby have a fantastic location in the town center and water front.
Both are beatifully newly refurbished.
We stayed three nights in the Elit annexe, and we were very pleased.
Friendly staff and very clean rooms in the charming old part of Ayvalik.
Very recommendable.

I have visited this hotel several times during my stay in Ayvalik for tea, coffee and breakfast. Very friendly and caring staff. Great coffee. Tasty breakfast with local touch. Fantastic sea view. Very peaceful. A place to go back again and again.
