Puhu Otel in Istanbul

At first, I was a bit unsure, but the moment we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised. This boutique hotel is extremely clean — from the bed linens and bathroom to the floors, everything was spotless. Fresh towels and all the essentials were provided.
One lovely detail was the beautiful scent throughout the hotel. Every time we entered or left the hotel, and even when entering our room, it smelled fresh and welcoming, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.
The location is absolutely perfect. The ferry is only a 3–5 minute walk away, and restaurants, bars, and the local bazaar are all just steps away. Kadıköy is the best area to stay, and this hotel is perfectly placed.

Stayed a second time. Comfort with familiarity.

Very nice boutique hotel, affordable for Istanbul. Around the corner from the main areas in Kadiköy, short walk to the ferries as well as the metro, in a very quiet area. We had a spacious room which was more of a loft. Fridge and kettle available. We had a very pleasant stay there.

It's a typical family-run guesthouse with rather old facilities—in fact, very old facilities. The overall experience was just so-so. For example, only one of the three light bulbs in the chandelier in the room was installed; the other one wasn't working!

The room is nice and spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Overall, I liked the hotel.

The shower leaked, the wash basin splashed, and there was no WiFi.

The location was perfect because it was close to all shops, restaurants, bars and many places and services of all kinds, but in a quiet little street to sleep well at night. Close to public transport (marmaray 15min walk, bus and boats 5 min walk, the Havaist 14 bus is also 5 min away and took us back to IST airport in 1h30 for 263tl per person). The area is great for those who like to soak up local life and everything is much cheaper than on the European side.
The only thing missing was black curtains thick enough not to be woken up at dawn by the daylight, but with a little mask on the eyes it does the trick very well.

The location is great. Near Kadikoy transport hub. Ferries and buses are more convenient. The surrounding supermarkets are very convenient. The room is quite big. Very clean.
