4/5 for overall experience, as I never give full marks for anything, as nothing's perfect..

It felt right to try this hotel out for some reason, not being sure what to expect..

İt's not a 4 or 5 star luxery hotel, but decent & stayable..

Respect to Ali..
Ali the manager seems a very approachable person, who seems to go out of his way to make you comfortable & content..
From experience, is hard to match in that respect..

The location is very good with beautiful historical buildings, including Sokollu Mehmet & Küçük Ayasofya Mescids', 2 of our favourites, with beautiful character..

Reasonably priced locally convenient stores..

I don't regret it & we would stay there again without hesitation, if needs be..

Really beautiful hotel! I was there for my first few days of my solo trip, the position is really the best, close to Sultanahmet, beautiful area. The hotel is cozy and clean. Ali the owner is kind, always helpful and always available for any questions or problems. I surely reccomend this place to everybody! Hope to come back :)

We stayed here for three nights and were very glad to have found this hotel. Our previous accommodation charged us twice as much for just two nights, with conditions that were far worse. This hotel is very cozy and feels like home — we truly enjoyed the comfort it offers.

Ali is a wonderful person, always ready to help with anything you need. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel — an excellent choice in every way!

For the price that Ali charges for a room per night is worth 5 stars for this hotel.The location is very central, the rooms have everything that you need. Ali does his best to make sure his guests are feeling comfortable like staying up extra for a late check in, organising and helping with airport transfer and also he will carry the bag for you and greet you in a very optimistic way and answer all questions very helpfully. There is definitely nothing more affordable in Istanbul for this kind of service.

First of all, the owner, Ali, is really a great guy. He's really glad to help with anything without the ulterior motives. Also, the location is excellent, few streets from the main Sultan Ahmet square, and they are very lively and always full of people. The room was decent for the price we paid, it was very comfortable.

We spent one week in this hotel. Everything was good. Room was clean. Bathroom as well. Location is great, friendly neighbourhood. Ali is a great host. He was there for us whenever we needed him. I recommend his hotel.

The hotel room is in a much worse condition than the images in Booking suggest. The bathroom floods every time you want to have a shower. Due to this, mold is growing inside the shower (see attached images). When asked for a different room, Ali said it is the same for all rooms. In the final nights, itchy bumps appeared all over my and my girlfriend's body, suggesting bed bugs (see attached image).
After leaving a review the owner will come up with lies to defame the guest - I never asked for my money back or threatened the owner. Everything in my review is substantiated with evidence, so it cannot really be considered slander (in contrary to the owner's response).

EDIT: the bites from the bed bugs appeared on the last day, best to take care and not book this hotel! If you are thinking of staying at this hotel, have a look at the pictures and see if I am exagerrating or not.

Very calm and nice hotel with a hospitable host Ali who always help and answer all the questions, thank you for that! Me with my friend stayed for one month here and we enjoyed our staying. Excellent hotel for a low price, I recommend!

Ali said: "it's normal to be bad smell in this old bilding, why you stay at the morning here? go waking 10 hours then come back tired and sleep here".

I booked one week BUT I runt away after one night. WITHOUT returning my money.
My health is more important than everything.

Everything was horrible worst than you imagine.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
