Great hotel and impeccable consierge service. Located in a quiet area, about 10 min walking from Taksim Square so perfect if you don't want quality and be able to sleep at night with not too much noise after having fun all day.
There is no restaurante at the hotel but their breakfast is very good and the 24h concierges can order anything you need from nearby places for delivery right to your room.
I love it. Definitely recommended it.

Stayed in this hotel with 3 small kids during 18th December 2025 till 25th December 2025
This is located in a very rough area, location description is not true, easily will get a back ache by the time you reach the main road to walk towards taksim metro station
definitely not suitable with kids as they find it extremely difficult to walk on steep road
pushchair - impossible, no place to walk with the pushchair as cars keep on coming down the hill and the sideway footpaths have got lots of obstacles
chef is very very rude , even after requesting it several times, chef didn't bother to toast the bread for us, they were putting the bread in the microwave which was making it even more worse
no option in breakfast other than eggs for 7 straighdays
lastly, we were being told to pay €20 for 2 small towels at checkout at 06am in morning and taxi driver was waiting and being forced to pay €20 , same towels cost £1 from here in London from Tesco or Asda, i told them when i get back, i will post the towels, it will work out cheaper but they didnt bother to listen, purposely they told us about the towels at checkout which were dirty like 4 days before, so i would recommend if anyone travelling, take your own towels as you can expect surprises at checkout,
i must say again, area is very rough and my wife didnt feel safe to walk during the evening back to the hotel, misleading information about hotel, they must clearly mention its not suitable for family or anyone with the wheelchair or aged people.

The 1st impression was not good at all, as we booked a standard room of 26 m2 and got a room without a windows of 12 m2 max. We were very upset, but checked in after midnight and it was only 1 room left. So, we decided to stay till morning.
But next morning after 1st night and our huge complaint manager gave us a great room with 3 (!) windows which actually great and we love it.
Good for service to address Customer needs.
Advise to travelers who’s planning to stay here, chose next category after standard, and avoid rooms on the 1st floor.
Breakfast was great, staff very pleasant, served us the table even after the end of breakfast hours.
Bad is very comfortable, pillows are medium and ok for the neck.
WiFi is fast enough and connection is stable.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. There were two small blood stains on the bedsheet, and I immediately offered to pay for the cover. Instead of handling it politely, the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. The housekeeper also started speaking loudly in Turkish, making the situation even more uncomfortable. Accidents can happen, but the way they treated me was unacceptable. I do not recommend this place to anyone who expects respect and basic courtesy.

We as a couple recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff did all what they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Specially the two trainee girls Ons and Mariam truly stood out during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

Don’t reserve this hotel on booking.com, they are fraudulent. They took money from my account before the end free cancellation period. I have contacted them severally to refund the money but I was completely ignored. Booking.com is not helpful in recovering the money either. Please stay away, they are fraudulent.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Fox Hotel in Istanbul! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles from the incredibly friendly staff, making us feel like we were visiting old friends. A special thanks to Ons and Mariam, who were especially helpful and made us feel very welcome. We also want to acknowledge the great support provided by Emil, Farouk, and Abbas – they were always there, ready to assist with anything we needed.
- The room's design and decor were absolutely beautiful. We loved all the thoughtful details, from the accessories to the color of the walls. We stayed in a family room as we are family of 5 and it was perfect for us – the kids had their own room, but it was conveniently connected at the end. The little kitchenette was a fantastic addition, and we really appreciated having that extra space.
- One of the highlights of our stay was the unforgettable breakfast experience. The presentation was simply beautiful, with attention to detail in everything from the plates they used to the way the food was served. It was so delightful that we didn’t even feel the need to explore breakfast options outside the hotel.
- The hotel’s location is also a big plus. It’s very close to Gevahir Mall, Taksim, and Galata Tower – all easily reachable by taxi in just a few minutes. This made it incredibly convenient for us to explore these main attractions without any hassle.
- I understand that some people might prefer a hotel on a main road, but that's not the case here. Instead, The Fox Hotel offers a fantastic stay with clean, lovely rooms and exceptional staff. We also found the inDrive taxi app very convenient, with taxis arriving quickly and on time whenever we needed them.
The last day, we felt genuinely sad leaving the hotel. It was like saying goodbye to friends and family. And one more thing – the music around the hotel was wonderful! On our last day, we even got to listen to Backstreet Boys, which made our stay even more memorable.
Good job, Fox Hotel team – keep it up! We’ll definitely be recommending this place to family and friends.
PS We had 2 stays in the hotel as we left in the middle for a trip to Antalya and then we returned back to Istanbul. In our second stay we got I think the best Rooms 703 and 704 that have the best view with Terrace 😍 you don’t get the same view in the lower rooms but you still get clean, lovely rooms with amazing breakfast

The staff are exceptional! They really all make you feel at home. They’re all so friendly and helpful.
Ons and Mariam really made me feel like we’re family and made my stay so much more enjoyable! They were so caring and hospitable.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, in Istanbul!
The staff are amazing! We were warmly welcomed and treated like friends and like we’re the only guests staying at the hotel.
The breakfast is absolutely delicious. It is a set of dishes that change daily and you get to choose how to take your eggs.
The room is clean and spacious, it’s being cleaned daily.
The location is the best, very strategic, close to the metro station, funikuler, taksim square, istiklal caddesi, nisantasi and more.
A lot of small shops, laundry, pharmacies around the hotel area.
I’d definitely stay here again in my next visit.
