Reviews
We arrived and were shown to our table. Since the evening was a bit chilly, the server immediately set up an electric heater next to our table and brought us the menus. We ordered drinks and main courses. The child ordered a burger, the ladies chose lamb and fish respectively, and the gentleman went for calamari. The food was absolutely delicious, and at this price point, we certainly didn’t expect such high quality. The service was first-class—two servers attended to us simultaneously, and everything ran just as it should in a fine dining restaurant: glasses were refilled without asking, and additional drinks arrived promptly upon a simple signal. Even the adorable but slightly pesky cats were gently lured away by the staff so they wouldn’t disturb our dinner too much.
My compliments to the servers for their excellent service. My compliments to the chefs for their outstanding culinary performance. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience. This experience alone gave us a reason to return. Thank you.
Great location
Nice Architecture
Cons:
Extremely noisy Loud music (Good luck sleeping before 2 AM)
Poor service. The rude front desk guy doesn’t care at all and there is nobody else to help.
Not car friendly (No proper parking, narrow
lanes)
No elevators
If you have luggage or a car or want decent sleep or service avoid.
If you are young and just here for nightlife. Go for it.
The room doesn’t feel very clean. Around 4pm, construction started next door, although it was for 1 hour, I was jet lagged and wanted to sleep and couldn’t. The pool was really warm last time and it was fun to come around when it’s cold to dip in the warm pool. Now the pool is cold.
In the evening, loud music is playing from the cafe, which is great fun for patrons but they put the speakers so close to the windows, it’s too much. I thought this hotel was for adults, not for young people who enjoy nights out until 5am.
Basically, I came for a rest after a hard long project and for now, just disappointed.
Our recent stay at RuinAdalia Hotel, located in the heart of Antalya’s old town (Kaleiçi), was truly unforgettable. Tucked into a beautifully restored historical complex, this boutique hotel offers a rare experience, equal parts comfort, charm, and history. From the moment we stepped through its main entrance, it felt as if we’d traveled back in time.
Finding the hotel wasn’t easy at first. The winding, narrow lanes of the old town can be disorienting (especially for first-timers like us), and GPS was little help. But a quick call to reception changed everything. A member of staff came to find us personally, a gesture that immediately showed the warmth and attentiveness that defines this place.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with open hearts and genuine smiles. Every interaction was filled with kindness, care, and professionalism. Whether we needed directions, help with bags, or simply a good conversation, they were always available without ever being intrusive. Their natural warmth added a personal touch to our stay that no luxury can replicate, it felt like staying with old friends who truly wanted us to feel at home.
We spent two nights here, drawn by the charm of the old town, and couldn’t have chosen a better base. The hotel itself is a historical treasure, an Ottoman-era complex masterfully preserved, with original features like stone walls and wooden beams blending seamlessly with tasteful modern comforts.
Our room was spacious, elegant, and quiet, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a private retreat. Mornings began with an exceptional Turkish breakfast served in their peaceful courtyard restaurant, everything was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The flavors were bold yet refined, and easily some of the best we’ve had in our travels.
For dinner, the courtyard transformed into an atmospheric, softly lit dining space. While the menu featured only one traditional Turkish dish, the rest offered a delicious array of internationally inspired cuisine, from Mediterranean to Middle Eastern to European flavors. Every dish we ordered was well balanced, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. You could tell the chef puts real thought and care into every meal.
One of the most unique aspects of RuinAdalia is the private archaeological museum located beneath the hotel, an underground space that houses remnants from past civilizations. We’re planning to visit it tomorrow before we leave. It’s rare to find a hotel where the building itself tells a story, and this one speaks volumes.
Final Thoughts
This was our first time together in Antalya, and RuinAdalia Hotel made it unforgettable. Whether you're a history lover, a couple seeking a romantic getaway, or simply in search of something truly special, this hotel deserves your full attention.
We left with full hearts, grateful memories, and every intention of returning.

The pool is small, not suitable for those who want to spend a day in the pool, but more for rest and relaxation. It's important to know that all the hotels in the old city are located between entertainment venues, so it's not particularly quiet at night, but we travel all day and come back tired, so it didn't disturb our sleep :)
