Description

Mediterra Art Hotel is a 4-star property located in a historic Ottoman-style building in Antalya's old town, offering 33 rooms that blend traditional architectural elements with modern comforts. Renovated in 2019, the hotel features a green garden with a small outdoor pool and a private courtyard for parking. Guests can enjoy meals in the on-site restaurant or the atmospheric courtyard. Rooms include various types such as Standard, Deluxe, and Single or Double options, some with city views. Facilities include free in-room Wi-Fi, a business center, currency exchange, car hire, and laundry services. The hotel is known for its clean rooms, strong hot showers, and attentive 24-hour staff, with a rating of 8.4/10 overall. Breakfast is served buffet-style with traditional Turkish dishes. However, noise from nearby bars and the hotel's own entertainment can affect nighttime rest.

Location

Mediterra Art Hotel is situated in Antalya's Kaleici district, right in the heart of the old town. The Mediterranean Civilizations Museum is only 160 meters away. For beach access, Mermerlu public beach is just 200 meters from the hotel, while the popular Konyaalti Blue Flag beach lies 2 kilometers away and Lara sandy beach is 5 kilometers distant. Antalya Airport (AYT) is approximately 8 kilometers from the hotel. Nearby dining options include the highly-rated Cafe Eski Masal Hotel, located 173 meters away, praised for its large rooms and friendly staff. The hotel’s location offers easy access to local markets, shops, cafes, and nightlife venues, though the latter contributes to nighttime noise.

Tips

  • Request a room facing the hotel's internal courtyard to reduce noise from nearby bars and nightclubs.
  • Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to sound, as music often plays until after midnight.

The room was tiny, I couldn't even open my suitcase. However, the location was great, and it had a private courtyard for parking, which might be typical for the old town area.

This hotel is right in the heart of old Antalya, housed in a historic building, which definitely adds to its character. The breakfast selection isn't extensive. The plumbing is old but functional. The room lighting is a bit dim. It gets noisy at night due to the surrounding bars and the hotel's own restaurant.

Great location in the heart of Antalya old town. Clean room and look the same as photos. Nice shower with strong and hot water. The only downside is that it is located next to a bar therefore it will be a bit noisy till late night.

Amazing location in the heart of Antalya local old town with ease of transport to  the beach and local market. Highly recommended for the local view of old city and access to local market. View from the hotel to the city street is amazing . Nice clean pool very friendly staff ready to accommodate you 24*7. We forget to bring our adapter they provided us and one day we have to leave early for our city tour they provided us packed sandwiches with juice and yoghurt . Really so nice of them we really enjoyed our stay and will book again in future.

Only one thing is loud music in the night but staff understand and accommodate us with nice room at the top . Less than 10minutes to beautiful beach

Bad service and not recommended due to a very very loud surrounding coming from a nearby discoteque and 2 different very loud music in the hotel bars. One next to the pool and different loud music in another part. Difficult for normal stay and aleep

Music plays until 1 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. I highly recommend it. Breakfast—assorted cheeses, jams, and fried yulka—is an acquired taste. The location is in a tourist area, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

Great hotel in old town of Antalya. Rooms are nice decorated. Breakfasts are topically Turkish with small local dishes served you on the table. Rooms are clean. Will come back again

The hotel location is close to everything however, the hotel is next to a techno club/bar. I’m a heavy sleeper but I could not sleep! I thought all the other reviews are just being picky with the noise but they are NOT, it is very very LOUD. It doesn’t stop until 2am.

The staff were very lovely, could not fault them.

Shower room is little bit dirty and was slightly rusty but the cleaning is very well done, when we asked to have our room cleaned.

Breakfast was delicious but it’s the same everyday.

Nice place inside, but night clubs around with loud noise till 01:00(

Very good location, be aware that this is pedestrian area so you can't drive nearby.
Hotel very classy and great service, they play music by the pool which can bother if you sleep early

This is a nice small hotel centrally located in Antalya old town. Big and nice rooms and extremely helpful hotel personnel.

The room was vintage. Some of the stuff in the room is a bit old like the fridge and the jacuzzi shower pod. No breakfast buffet. Quiet at night, the bed was quite comfortable. I looked at their business card, at the reception “Dimitri Vasiliev, General Manager” That didn’t sound like a Turkish name, I asked, “Is he Russian” “Yes” “but he’s Jewish, right?” I asked. “Yes”. So if you’d like to support local Jewish businesses, this is the right place to stay.

Oh, my God, I really want to give a bad review to this hotel. It's so noisy at night. It's not soundproof. It's not quiet outside until three o'clock in the morning. It's on the roadside. There is a hard and thin blanket on the bed. The smell of wood in the room is so strong. People who don't sleep well should not live in this room

Excellent boutique hotel. Service was impeccable and the breakfast spread was well done. The only challenge for us was that the AC was off ahead of our arrival in our room. This meant that it took 24 hours before it got comfortably cool enough in the room for us to sleep. Additionally the internet TV was not connected to the internet so we could not access content. These small details do not detract from an otherwise excellent stay.

It was a quiet and peaceful holiday in the old city of Antalya, close to entertainment centers. A concept that was not crowded was considered for breakfast by the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was great in terms of price-performance evaluation.

A particularly charming boutique hotel located in the old city of Antalya. We were 4 people and stayed in the Ottoman room; An extremely luxurious room, 90 meters including 2 bedrooms, a living room, an extremely large bathroom with two sinks and a huge jacuzzi. The breakfast is excellent and full of good things. The staff is professional, welcoming, helpful and extremely kind. Always taking care of the well-being of the guests!!! The hotel is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant and it is located in an excellent location; Only 15 minutes from the marina and within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. An excellent hotel, and an attractive price - I highly recommend it!!!
The pool is small, not suitable for those who want to spend a day in the pool, but more for rest and relaxation. It's important to know that all the hotels in the old city are located between entertainment venues, so it's not particularly quiet at night, but we travel all day and come back tired, so it didn't disturb our sleep :)

Fantastic ambience and location, excellent service and a friendly owner. The breakfast spread that they lay out is the stuff of legend.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The Staff are attentive and because it is a small hotel they really make you feel welcome. Lovely to stay in the Old Town. Great area to walk around in. The old bazaar is within a 5 minute walk and the main shopping areas within 10 to 15 minutes walk. There are a lot of historical sites to see with the coast on your doorstep. I would 100% stay here again.

Location was perfect if you want a peaceful night of sleep in the old town and also want to be close to the sights you want to see in the day. We initially had a room close to the center of the town which is where the beer garden / pubs where. Convenient but was impossible to sleep. We moved to Eski Masal thankfully, the rooms are spacious, we took the Anatolian suite which is on the second floor. Feels like a cultural experience so no complaints about decor which is kept to a minimum in the room. Toilets were amazing, equipped with a modern shower with massage features and there’s also a huge jacuzzi. Only issue were the towels have a bad smell as perhaps the room has not been used in a while ? Minor problem as everything else is good. Breakfast was a good selection given the exclusivity of the hotel meant there would not be many guests (5 suites max?) at one point. Nice pool too. Receptionist was helpful as offered to cook scrambled eggs on the side as the buffet spread was mainly cold. Would recommend to anyone who isn’t looking for a crazy night out in Antalya and wants a peaceful evening uninterrupted by the loudness of the streets should you find yourself staying near pubs and restaurants which is an 80% chance.
