Description

Alp Pasa Hotel - Special Class is a four-star hotel located in Antalya’s historic Kaleiçi district, housed within two beautifully restored Ottoman-style buildings dating back to 1995 and renovated in 2020. The hotel uniquely serves as a museum, displaying around 100 artifacts uncovered during its construction. It offers 50 rooms across a 15,000 m² complex, featuring a range of room types including Economy, Standard, Deluxe, and several suites like the Ottoman Honeymoon Double Suite and Family Fiore Suite. Guests can enjoy three on-site restaurants, two bars, and an open-air swimming pool. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, free parking, a conference hall for up to 40 people, and services such as laundry, concierge, and car hire. The hotel offers arrangements for free access to nearby Konyaaltı Beach (rocky) and Lara Beach (sandy) with complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas. Children are welcome with options for cots and high chairs in the restaurant. This hotel blends traditional architecture with modern comfort and acts as a cultural landmark in Antalya.

Location

The hotel is situated in the heart of Antalya’s Old Town (Kaleiçi), just 93 meters from the Mediterranean Civilizations Museum, and is 8 km from Antalya Airport (AYT), approximately a 20-minute drive. Konyaaltı Beach lies about 400 meters away, offering guests easy beach access. The marina is within walking distance, as are numerous shops, restaurants, and bars. Nearby dining options include the highly rated Café Eski Masal Hotel, 170 meters away, praised for its charming atmosphere and professional service. The central location places guests close to historical sites and the vibrant local nightlife, although guests should be aware that the area can be noisy at night due to nearby bars and entertainment venues.

Tips

  • If you plan to drive, prepare for limited and challenging parking options; consider using taxis or hotel car hire services instead.
  • Request rooms in the main building if you want stronger Wi-Fi and quieter surroundings, as some annex rooms face noise and connectivity issues.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Many staff re and somewhat difficult to access taxis, I wouldn’t recommend booking if you’re driving a personal vehicle.

It’s an old hotel, firstly we are black couple that booked, they placed us on the top back of the hotel, its backwards thinking, the room was not clean n very basic, poor service wen we asked for ac to be checked as it was cold air only. Definitely not for us.

The place was perfect for tourists to explore the ancient city areas and the nearest gulf and coast. I recommend it as one of the best in street . The staff was so good and the breakfast is as good as the reputation of the place. The only downside to notice was the water bottles , you have to buy after the first 2 free ones you get in first day , also because of the long history of the place some of the aminities in the room needs some fixation like the toilet watering , we didn't ask for fixation of the problem because we were in hurry to go to next destination or else I think they would fix the problem as soon as we told them . Again , I recommend the place it's so pretty and elegant.

Everything was good. Very clean.

The location was excellent. However, I was given a room facing the street instead of the one I booked, and it was extremely noisy, so I could not sleep well.

The Wi-Fi barely worked in my room—it existed in name only—although it worked fine in the main building. Breakfast was okay.

When I asked to change to a main-building room, I was told it would be possible after the current guests checked out, so I waited. But after they left, the staff changed their story. To make matters worse, the room was left unlocked after cleaning, which made me feel very uncomfortable.

Overall, I was very disappointed because I was placed in a completely different room from what I originally selected.

We had a pleasant 3 day stay at Alp Pasa which is ideally situated right in the centre of the old town. This makes it very atmospheric but also a little noisy with sounds travelling especially at night.
Our room was comfortable but some things like plumbing need a little attention. There was a leak from the bath across the floor, the sink tap soaked you unless you put it on very carefully and the shower randomly got an air lock and stopped working.
The breakfast for us was spoiled because it was so hard to find a table and there were always queues for things like coffee. It felt like they needed more staff. We were particularly irritated to be told that if we wanted decaf coffee we would have to pay for it because it had to come from a different place. The rooms had a hot plate but no kettle which was a little odd.
The reception staff were lovely and very welcoming and the aesthetic of the building is gorgeous. Be aware though that the call to prayer at 6:25am is very loud.

Great service, and the breakfast was good.

The room was cold and damp, and there was no drinking water. There's no elevator. For breakfast, you had to queue 5-10 minutes for coffee, and parking was a huge hassle. The room also had no room number, which led to a long wait. The bed was very damp and uncomfortable.

A pleasant spot right in the heart of the Old Town. It's a popular place, with lots of guests.

The room layout was a bit odd and not very practical. We also had a bit of a struggle with the main entrance door to the suite block. Don't bother booking these rooms just for the terrace, as it's shared with other rooms and located in a walkway. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful (though the coffee wasn't great), and I was especially impressed by the olive selection – about 6-7 different varieties!

It is in a great location in Old Town. Minutes walk from the marina and plenty of shops nearby. It is an old building converted into a hotel. There are rooms in the hotel and in an annex across. We were in the annex. All the annex rooms are like little apartments. With a living room area, bedroom area, ensuite and kitchen area. There was a two hob cooker but no pots, plates or cutlery. Nice clean rooms and some do have their own outdoor seating or balconies. There was a problem with our first room. There was a pipe next to the bed that took water from all the rooms above. It was very loud and I could not put up with it for the whole week. They offered us another room and even showed us around a few different rooms so that we could choose which one we wanted. Not sure what would have happened if they were fully booked. A thunder storm took the Internet out for three days. Not the hotels fault I know, but inconvenience non the less. The Riviera restraint across the lane is part of the hotel and all guests get 10% discount. Food was good and varied menu. There was a family of cats that like to join you for breakfast and dinner. This one we called cheeky face. He likes to have his own chair at your table. That way you can't ignore him while you eat.

This is a nice small hotel centrally located in Antalya old town. Big and nice rooms and extremely helpful hotel personnel.

The room was vintage. Some of the stuff in the room is a bit old like the fridge and the jacuzzi shower pod. No breakfast buffet. Quiet at night, the bed was quite comfortable. I looked at their business card, at the reception “Dimitri Vasiliev, General Manager” That didn’t sound like a Turkish name, I asked, “Is he Russian” “Yes” “but he’s Jewish, right?” I asked. “Yes”. So if you’d like to support local Jewish businesses, this is the right place to stay.

Oh, my God, I really want to give a bad review to this hotel. It's so noisy at night. It's not soundproof. It's not quiet outside until three o'clock in the morning. It's on the roadside. There is a hard and thin blanket on the bed. The smell of wood in the room is so strong. People who don't sleep well should not live in this room

Excellent boutique hotel. Service was impeccable and the breakfast spread was well done. The only challenge for us was that the AC was off ahead of our arrival in our room. This meant that it took 24 hours before it got comfortably cool enough in the room for us to sleep. Additionally the internet TV was not connected to the internet so we could not access content. These small details do not detract from an otherwise excellent stay.

It was a quiet and peaceful holiday in the old city of Antalya, close to entertainment centers. A concept that was not crowded was considered for breakfast by the pool. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was great in terms of price-performance evaluation.

A particularly charming boutique hotel located in the old city of Antalya. We were 4 people and stayed in the Ottoman room; An extremely luxurious room, 90 meters including 2 bedrooms, a living room, an extremely large bathroom with two sinks and a huge jacuzzi. The breakfast is excellent and full of good things. The staff is professional, welcoming, helpful and extremely kind. Always taking care of the well-being of the guests!!! The hotel is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant and it is located in an excellent location; Only 15 minutes from the marina and within walking distance of all shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. An excellent hotel, and an attractive price - I highly recommend it!!!
The pool is small, not suitable for those who want to spend a day in the pool, but more for rest and relaxation. It's important to know that all the hotels in the old city are located between entertainment venues, so it's not particularly quiet at night, but we travel all day and come back tired, so it didn't disturb our sleep :)

Fantastic ambience and location, excellent service and a friendly owner. The breakfast spread that they lay out is the stuff of legend.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The Staff are attentive and because it is a small hotel they really make you feel welcome. Lovely to stay in the Old Town. Great area to walk around in. The old bazaar is within a 5 minute walk and the main shopping areas within 10 to 15 minutes walk. There are a lot of historical sites to see with the coast on your doorstep. I would 100% stay here again.

Location was perfect if you want a peaceful night of sleep in the old town and also want to be close to the sights you want to see in the day. We initially had a room close to the center of the town which is where the beer garden / pubs where. Convenient but was impossible to sleep. We moved to Eski Masal thankfully, the rooms are spacious, we took the Anatolian suite which is on the second floor. Feels like a cultural experience so no complaints about decor which is kept to a minimum in the room. Toilets were amazing, equipped with a modern shower with massage features and there’s also a huge jacuzzi. Only issue were the towels have a bad smell as perhaps the room has not been used in a while ? Minor problem as everything else is good. Breakfast was a good selection given the exclusivity of the hotel meant there would not be many guests (5 suites max?) at one point. Nice pool too. Receptionist was helpful as offered to cook scrambled eggs on the side as the buffet spread was mainly cold. Would recommend to anyone who isn’t looking for a crazy night out in Antalya and wants a peaceful evening uninterrupted by the loudness of the streets should you find yourself staying near pubs and restaurants which is an 80% chance.
