Adalya Port Hotel in Antalya

The location is excellent, near the port. It's a relatively old hotel, and the front desk staff were very polite and friendly. They even gave us a complimentary can of chilled Coke and Sprite. The view from the window was also quite nice.

However, the only thing I couldn't stand was being woken up very early in the morning. They had assigned me a room on the third floor, and I was woken up around 6 or 7 AM local time by footsteps from upstairs. It was very uncomfortable. I later found out that there was a restaurant upstairs. So, if you see this review, remember to ask the front desk to move you to a lower floor.

I liked the hotel. It's very conveniently located, close to many attractions, there are a couple of inexpensive beaches nearby, and the breakfasts are delicious and filling. The renovations are a bit dated, but the price and other advantages outweigh the cost.

The hotel's front desk service was excellent. The breakfast was a highlight, very delicious, and they even prepared a special children's meal for the children, which was so heartwarming! The hotel is in a great location, right in the old city with cobblestone streets. Downhill is the boat dock. The ice cream at the dock was only 150 lira, half the price in Istanbul. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, but the hotel is not suitable for self-driving tours. It's inconvenient to enter by car, and the navigation system on the pedestrian street didn't work. We circled around three times, and the police weren't very clear either, so we had to find our way on foot. Every guest who arrived was breathless when they opened the door, which was hilarious! Then, one of our two rooms was close to the parking lot, which was fine. My daughter and I faced the sea, so at night we were forced to listen to the disco music from the dock restaurant until 3 a.m., a sleepless night. People with weak hearts probably can't handle it.

Because it is in the old town, the toilets had an odor from the sewers. The hotel's solution was to spray air freshener. The breakfast was not a buffet and the portions were large, but the taste was just average. The coffee was instant.
