Matiate Hotel & Spa in Beldibi

The room that we ordered (i paid more for) was not empty when we came so they gave us the other one till the next day. In a one week nobody came to clean our room or to change the towels, bedding or to fill the soup or shampoo which was empty from the first day. I was asking every single day in reception, also I was asking for a boy that cleaned the corridor, showed him with finger to our room but no reaction from anybody. Very few people from reception speaks English or Russian, when I ordered holidays there they promised me that reception speaks German but nobody there understands German language at all.

Absolutely disgusting g hotel paid for upgrade wish I had never bothered.The staff are the most unhelpful stFf I hVe ever met . U have to beg to get rooms cleaned a d fresh bedding also towels. They say all I clusive but they do not serve any spirits what so ever they only serve soft drinks beer or wine and bag closes at 10pm. There private beach is about 20 ft wide and the cram sunbeds together if you can get one. The food caters more for Germans. There is no entertainment . I would advise Nyone to avoid this hotel as disgusting.

WORST HOTEL EVER!!!
not only did we stay in a disgusting room! First night we stayed, we stayed in a room that was full of DAMP and the bathroom was full of mold and poo all over the walls!!! The shower was rusted and nothing worked!
The food is disgusting and so bland! They claim "full inclusive" but really it's more half board.
The only drinks you get for free is beer, wine, water and coke.
The staff dont know english and everyone was so rude.
The entertainment was poor.
The pool shuts early you barely have time for a swim.
Everywhere is really rundown.
Get enjoy? More like get help.

I stayed here with my husband and two kids, and it was the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.
Room issues: We booked a double and twin room with a garden view, but were first given a tiny room with only one double bed and told all four of us should sleep in it. When I asked where the boys would sleep, staff said they’d place a bed next to the toilet. Eventually, we were moved to a standard room with bunk beds, but when I complained, the receptionist said, “Madam, please don’t make a performance here.” The room was filthy, with mould and a strong damp smell.
Food: Despite paying for all-inclusive, the food was cold, surrounded by flies, and completely inedible. We had to eat all meals outside the hotel.
Staff behavior: None of the staff spoke English, making it impossible to get help. They were rude, dismissive, and openly racist toward my husband, speaking in their own language and laughing at him.
Safety hazards: The swimming pool area was extremely dangerous. Wet, slippery tiles caused people to fall, including children, elderly guests, and even me. There was no lifeguard or first aider on duty, and no one responded when I fell.
We have photos documenting the conditions. This hotel is dirty, unsafe, and discriminatory. Please avoid it at all costs, especially if traveling with family.
