The Turay has a restaurant on the riverside. There is nothing to dislike about the location, food or service. It is an Idyllic setting, quiet, comfortable and all the nature you can handle.
The food is top notch value and the service is excellent. Not the cheapest but excellent value and tasty.
Thomas, the head waiter, is a lovely chap and always willing to help.
Give it a go, you will not be disappointed.

We had a very enjoyable holiday at the Turay Hotel. The staff were all lovely. Polite, friendly and helpful. Tomas is mentioned in several reviews and he is really kind and caring. We were there in October half term for the last few days of the season. We were very lucky with the weather. Hot sunshine in the day changing to chilly evenings when the sun goes down. We had the pool to ourselves. It was clean and felt freezing for the first couple of minutes but was fine after that. There was good WiFi by the pool and bar. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll along the river to the village. The walkway along the river is lined by restaurants on the water but it was still leafy and pleasant. The village/town has many restaurants, several small supermarkets and ATMs. The river bank is a harbour for hundreds of river boats offering trips. We took a day trip including mud bath, lunch and beach. That worked really well.
The highlight of the area is the archeological site at Kaunos.
The family love animals and were never short of a kitten to stroke. The cats and dogs roam freely everywhere and seem friendly, healthy and well fed.

The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean and functional. Clothes store space ok for 2 persons sharing. Could do with a full length mirror and tea/coffee making facilities rather than having to go and get it from the dining area and take it back to your room. Decorating of the room bit clumsy so it spoils the finish as there was splodges of paint on the tiled skirtings and door frames. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we all slept well and it is so peaceful in the evenings. The aircon was very good and easy to use for the different settings. The water pressure was excellant and there was plenty of hot water. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower area could do with redoing (just general wear and tear starting to show but perfectly usable and very clean). The bedding and towels were clean and refreshed often. We paid for B&B and I would consider the breakfast had a good selection. I personally would have liked a selection of fresh fruit to have with the delicious natural yogurt and honey but there was enough to choose from. Toast, cereals, a selection of different cooked eggs, some freshly made to order. A selection of salad and cheeses, olives, jams, cake and tea/coffee, fruit juice and water. Lunch and evening meals were all delicious and freshly made and you can choose where to eat anytime of the day- by the river (watch the turtles and fish) or in the dining room or outside dining area near the pool. There is a lovely bar area by the pool and you can order food here. We didn't have a bad meal all week and everything was hot even when eating by the river. The location by the river, ambience of the setting, the architecture of the hotel, landscaping/planting of the gardens of hotel Turay are absolutely gorgeous. There are fruit trees and mature shrubs/flowers all around, it is absolutely lovely. The
relaxed vibe, superb staff (Omar/Ozzie barperson, Tomas the dining waiter ) and the other young lads who also wait on you, are all lovely, polite and helpful. But special mention for Omar and Tomas. The lunch and dinner menus have a huge selection and all are freshly cooked and really delicious. I have read reviews where people have complained about Turay being given 5 star rating etc and food being a lot cheaper in town centre. Look, I'm not knocking Dalyan centre but it's akin to Skegness/Blackpool etc whereas hotel Turay is peaceful and situated in a beautiful location. Food was not that much cheaper in town. I would pay more any day of the week for Turay's location and ambience. I believe its listed as 3 star but customers have given it 5 and I truly can understand this given its wonderful location made even better by the lovely staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. It is a 10 minute walk to Dalyan centre. There is good free WiFi connection at the hotel. Unfortunately, I do not think we would come back to Dalyan itself; given there were cats everywhere and my husband is severely allergic to animals, particularly cats. For this very reason, I didn't choose hotel Chablis to stay in given I had read a review before we booked which mentioned cats wandering round. Unfortunately, there are cats everywhere in Dalyan. Dont get me wrong, these are not ferral but domesticated and friendly, but its no good if you are allergic to them and they are sitting on sun beds, sofas and chairs in your complex. I am truly disappointed given we would definitely have come back to Turay. It is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It truly deserves 5 stars. The fact that people return year on year speaks volumes.

Lovely quiet hotel in a peaceful area right by the river, rooms a bit tired looking buy spotlessly clean, all the staff very friendly

If you are just walking by this place is called Serenity. We happened upon it and so glad we stopped in for dessert our first night and went back another night for a dinner. It is a very peaceful and lovely setting right on the river. We spotted so many jumping fish and loggerhead turtles while sitting there enjoying our meal. The service is excellent and food is delicious. It was a little expensive upon first glance but we felt like the higher price was worth the lovely ambience, great service, and delicious food. One of our kids is very picky and they accommodated her special request and still gave us a kids meal price, which we really appreciated. Do yourself a favor and take the lovely stroll down to this wonderful restaurant.

This is a lovely, small hotel complex. The location is stunning.

Watching the turtles from the riverside restaurant is super. What makes this hotel special is the staff team, they can't do enough for you and always have a smile and a friendly word 😊
