Just got home after 4 weeks at the hotel. We spent 2 weeks the same time last and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This time not so good, majority of the staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good especially omelettes which were made fresh, thank you “egg lady”. Sun beds were a disgrace, left out in the rain and got thoroughly saturated and took a couple of days to dry out (it did rain on several occasions). Can not understand why the mattresses were not put away when rain was forecast. It seems the management didn’t care. Cleaning of the room was hit and miss, bed linen changed only 2, bathroom not cleaned. Had to ask several times for soap dispenser to be filled also for toilet rolls and for coffee. Already booked 2 for next year but now reconsidering other options.

I’ll start by saying we are not sun lounger and pool people, we chose it for the stunning location and the out of town quietness. The town is ten minutes walk away so we were pleased how tranquil the location of the hotel is. The staff are friendly and attentive and the whole site is very clean and tidy but looking at the sun lounger mattresses they are definitely in need of replacing. The breakfast is a fairly basic Turkish affair. The only hot food is freshly cooked eggs, fried, scrambled or omelette with three other hot choices, Sausage , mushrooms etc.but these were fairly meagre. Other choices are cheese, salad, olives, an unappetising looking cold meat, cereals, numerous jams and fruit that was generally too hard to eat. The room was large and pleasant with a very comfortable large bed. The room has air conditioning but we had an issue on our second night when some guests complained it was too cold the night before and as a result, the site manager locked down the air conditioning but too all rooms. We complained but nothing could be done that evening so we cooked until 3 am when our room finally cooled down, not helped by our room facing the sun all day. The decision to switch the air conditioning but back on happened the next day otherwise we would have asked our tour operator to move hotels. The bathroom was also large but in need of some TLC, a sink with a hairline crack, a wobbly toilet seat and the grout in the shower needed a good clean. The shower was pleasant but hot water in the morning was disappointing. Two more issues, we were on the ground floor and the the upper floor flushed the toilet your had the sound of rushing water through the bedroom, not great. The second issue was the small seating area outside the room (see photo). Two dining style chairs and a small plastic stool were totally inappropriate, most guests agreed. It was crying out for simple garden furniture to relax in.
