Hotel Holiday Calbis in Dalyan

Spent a lovely week at holiday calbis, room was clean and shower powerful. Omelette station saved the day for breakfast. Four pools to choose from always managed to get a sun lounger in the sun. Nice and quiet no load music. All staff really friendly and a nice bar open in the evening. Walking distance to the restaurants and all the boat trips. Would definitely return

Once again, a second visit to the Hotel Calbis. Superlatives are running out. Wonderful location for a relaxing holiday in beautiful gardens and surroundings encompassing the hills around Dalyan. Fantastic staff, great owners. Incredibly clean everywhere in public areas and rooms. Chilly air conditioning included in the price and safes.

First time visiting Dalyan, will not be my last. We were so impressed with this hotel that we actually booked for next year whilst lying on the sun bed. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff especially the couple that ran the bar. It’s the most relaxing holiday that we have ever experienced and can’t praise it higher.

We have visited Dalyan about 12 times, 11 of which we have stayed at the Calbis. As soon as we arrive we can relax knowing that the quality of the pools, gardens and rooms will be excellent. The staff are all lovely, always smiling and very hardworking, even through one particularly spectacular storm they rallied round, out in the pouring rain and still able to provide breakfast as usual, they were outstanding . Each year Gokmen has made changes and upgrades and things like the mini bus into town ech evening is very much appreciated, especially the older we become! We'll be back in May 2026 assured of another great holiday. Thanks to everyone at the Calbis hotel.

This was our fifth time to Dalyan but first time at the Calbis.check in was easy but initially given the wrong room,we had booked a pool room.guy who carried the cases phoned reception when I told him this was the wrong room,handed phone to me and she apologised it was her mistake.we were then shown to our room which was lovely with pool view.hotel and Pools are spotlessy clean.and all staff were lovely and friendly.couple who run the bar are great.breakfast is typical of Turkish hotels.we will return next year,hopefully.

We had a brilliant holiday at this hotel ( hotel calbis ) we don’t think we could have found a better place to stay. First of all as soon as we got there we could not resist to have are First swim in the pool even though it was quite late. After we got out the pool we decided to have a first look at the bedroom. It was very tidy and well presented we were very impressed. Of course we hade to look at the balcony . The view was spectacular with the pool right in front of us. We could also see the bar from are room which was outstanding. That night we went out to explore the area and chose a calming restaurant near the river of dalyan . The food was marvellous every night outside the hotel. On a couple of days out there were markets with so many different stuff most of them were football shirts. If you want to do more activities and chill out you could go on boat trips. There are different places to go including crabbing and mud baths if you’re interested. Back to the hotel . Every night we had a very comfortable sleep with nothing disturbing us . The bar closes at around 10:30pm so you can have fresh drinks and play cards before you get heading to bed. In the morning breakfast will be served near the bar area at 8am with lots of fresh fruit , pancakes, cereal and lots of other food. After you eat your breakfast it is best to find sun beds because sometimes it does get busy. There are 4 pools to choose from but the main one is the best in my opinion. For lunch you can eat from the bar, they have lots of delicious food with a wide range of choices. If you want something different to eat there are 2 supermarkets near the hotel with lots of different things to choose from. While you’re away doing something outside the hotel the cleaners will clean the room perfectly. When you get back to the room there will be towels in the shape of swans or people which is much appreciated. If you ask the bar man to have a beer glass to keep he will not reject the option. If you want to get wet on this holiday another trip to go on is called jeep suffari . On that trip you will experience cold water and getting soaked by water guns. You will also have a chance to have lunch and go in this really cold waterfall. We went here for 2 weeks and it was the best holiday we have ever had. (Written by Harvey, age 10)

This was the latest in the year we have gone and it was mainly older couples who like to get up at 6am and secure their sunbeds for the day. To be fair the HC do have signs out asking people not to do this but it still happens and it’s really annoying. The hotel is still lovely but we missed some of the familiar faces from previous trips. It’s perhaps not quite as friendly as before. Upon leaving and handing in our key the women on reception didn’t even say good bye or thanks, just took the key from me and then turned away leaving me standing there. Lots of lovely cats and dogs in the hotel and the majority of visitors know this and are kind and tolerant of the fact they are sharing this beautiful space with them

We spent 11 nights at this hotel really could not of expected any better rooms were great aircon really good lovely pool areas and the lady on the front desk was always smiling and so helpful also the husband and wife behind the bar were lovely even remember our names and always greeting us by name the lunch time food was really good and fair price just swipe your card and pay when you check out all in all a great holiday thank you hotel calbis

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Holiday Calais and had a wonderful time. We were two adults travelling with two children of 15 and 12 years. We had a wonderful sized room with king bed for us adults and two singles for the children, the room was huge! Plenty of storage for our clothes and bathroom accessories. Cleanliness wise, the hotel was immaculate. All of the staff were very friendly and seriously hard working. Dalyan itself offered a plethora of shops, restaurants and cultural variety. The river setting is absolutely beautiful and we would highly recommend a local Jeep Safari, River boat to Turtle Beach ( and a visit to the Turtle Hospital is a must). Also, a mention to our day on Captain Ali’s boat, plenty of lovely anchor stops and swimming/jumping off of the boat! All amazing trips and cheap. The call for prayer each x5 daily and mosque at the centre of town all added to a wonderful, cultural feel. The Turkish people were extremely welcoming. Overall, one of our best holidays yet and we’ve been on many! Kids didn’t miss all inclusive options or water slides one bit! Oh and there was no issue at all with securing sunbeds around the pool!
