Sunday Mangrove Corniche Hotel in Ras Al Khaimah

I would like to express my concern regarding the noticeable change in service quality compared to my previous stay. Unfortunately, I was quite surprised by the experience this time.

The night shift reception staff appeared unhelpful and unresponsive. Assistance was not provided unless we repeatedly followed up, particularly regarding housekeeping issues. On several occasions, it felt as though our concerns were not being taken seriously, and we had to call at least three times before receiving any support.

I hope management will look into this matter, as the overall experience did not meet the expected standards.

I booked a 2 night stay for the holidays from 29th November till 1st December 2025. I arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm, had to wait as no rooms were available I asked the receptionist an estimated time he said they don't know. After waiting in the line till 3:30 pm got the roomkeysfor 309. When I entered the room I was shocked as the room was not clean it felt like the previous guest just left the room and they gave it to me. I mean the bed was not done, there toilet paper in the toilet with stoll in it and shower tub was filled with water. I called the reception five times but they just pick the phone and close it. I called the housekeeping they said will send someone after 45 min 2 attendants arrived. When I show them the rooms situation they just shrug me off and change the sheets on the bed asked them about the toilet, one attendant took the bedsheet and wiped the toilet floor and flushed the toilet. I asked him there are no towels in the bathroom. He said we don't have it and when the next shift who arrives at 9 pm you ask them. I asked them there no water they said they will get them and left the room but never came or send water. I called housekeeping no one answered. I called room service a lady answered said she will send someone. Only at 9 pm a Burmese girl attendant arrived and gave water. I asked her for towels she said she only can give 2 bath towels I asked her for hand towels she said she doesn't have any.The positive is the room is very spacious but the furniture have mold on the due to poor maintenance some of the drawer doors were off hinges so it was difficult to open or close them.The next morning had the breakfast buffet the food was good and the staff did a very good job. I liked it. For most part we went out for sightseeing loved the surroundings. On the check out day called the reception for check. He said ok. I asked if you can send the bellboy for luggage. He said that's not his job and hung up. My wife had to go to the reception catch the bellboy and literally ask him to help with the luggage as I had to get my car from parking since there is not valet available. Overall the hotel ambiance, surrounding are good but the reception staff and some housekeeping male attendants were totally unprofessional and didn't care about doing their job professionally or showing human decency.

In general the hotel prices was higher compared to what other hotels provide even in Dubai .
