The buffet selection was not as comprehensive as other Rixos properties and Turquoise was closed for renovation. So they did the buffet in a smaller restaurant. Much less choice. Breakfast was average and food overall was just ok. I missed the curry selection they put on at Saadiyat. And no sujuk.
We were not made aware of restaurant closures when we booked or that the 2 a la carte restaurants would be payable. This was disappointing and worth bearing in mind when booking all inclusive. This did result in a difficult encounter at one of the restaurants because the information we'd been given had included this restaurant in our all inclusive package, when we got there we were told no. Not good.
We had a couple of other minor issues, no hot water on final day and a broken room curtain. The sauna also had a broken timer so you weren't sure how long you'd been in.
Service was generally good but I don't think as attentive as other Rixos we've been to.

Room was ok, comfortable beds. Beach was nice and food average. The restaurants were really bad on customer service, they told Me to go back later as I was one person as they didn't have space for me, very rude and disrespectful, so I ended up dining outside the hotel at better locations with better customer service. Location was good but If you look for a classy, comfortable, peaceful and excellent service type of stay this is not it.
It was noisy , expensive, lack of customer service and extremely busy with families and loads of kids. . Not what I hoped for, very disappointed.
Breakfast was also variety of food .
