InterContinental Dubai Marina by IHG in Dubai

We had a fantastic 7 day stay at the InterContinental Dubai Marina by IHG.

We stayed in Room 3002, a spacious and very comfortable 3 bedroom apartment, which was perfect for a longer stay. The apartment was well maintained, clean and ideal for families or groups.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the Marina, with the tram just across the road and easy walking access to JBR Beach, Marina Mall and many restaurants.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with a wide spread and great variety every morning, all fresh and well organised.

The service throughout the hotel was exceptional, with friendly, professional and attentive staff who really made us feel welcome.

We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dubai Marina.

Stayed for four nights in December, in a Deluxe Room on the 9th floor. Room was big, clean and comfy and bathroom was huge with walk-in rain shower. Decent balcony with AMAZING views of the Marina. We used the Club Lounge a few times in the evenings and it’s excellent for breakfast (table service and really quiet!). The hotel is excellent and in a cracking location on the Marina…

Absolutely wonderful hotel for my one week business trip. Easily reachable from Dubai Airport by both public transportation (metro and tram) or by Uber (~40 minutes).

As I came in December, the weather was really pleasant and could have breakfast outside in the morning on the terrace and for evening cocktails I went to the Club Lounge on the 39th floor with really nice views and a wonderful staff. Everyone was kind and professional, knew my order already from the 2nd day onwards, really pleasant place to chill after a day of work.

Staff in general is superb, with everyone being kind, professional and supportive.

Accessibility is great, the Tram is just across the street and if you can combine your travel with the metro, no need to stay in the long traffic jams.

For the room, I got a Junior Suite, with separate living and sleeping rooms, but forgot to take pictures 🙈

All in all, if this is your area to be in Dubai, then I definitely recommend this hotel. I for sure plan to return next year.

Exceptional Transit Stay at InterContinental Dubai Marina

I stayed at the InterContinental Dubai Marina during an 18-hour transit from Dubai, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I arrived at the hotel around noon, even though the official check-in time was 3:00 PM. Despite my early arrival, the staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and accommodating.
I waited about two hours for my room, but the receptionist went above and beyond by offering a complimentary upgrade. We received a stunning room with a beautiful view, which made the wait absolutely worth it.
The professionalism and warm attitude of the staff truly made a long transit stop feel relaxing and enjoyable. I sincerely appreciate their efforts, and I will definitely choose InterContinental Dubai Marina again on my next visit.

Five star hotel in the heart of the Marina. Outstanding service , food , drinks , facilities and room. We had a room with a balcony facing the Marina which was lovely to sit out and watch the boats go by. The club lounge access is fabulous, comes with breakfast, afternoon tea and drinks and canapés in the evening. The staff in this lounge could not have been more friendly, welcoming and attentive to every detail , they made our stay extra special and would like to thank and complement all of this team who should be named: Sanjay, Divine, Asmita and Sintya. Thank you, you provided exceptional service! Thanks to the club lounge experience we would come back in a heartbeat! It was my birthday while we stayed and I had a cake sent to my room , so thoughtful and I felt valued as a long tenure IHG member.
The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to JBR beach , the Marina Mall and the Marina plaza , highly recommend this hotel!!

Third time here. I have to say the breakfast is wonderful especially the egg selection. Lunch and dinner are nice too.
Meeting rooms are excellent for team sessions, with a wonderful spread of snacks during break time. Easy to access, comfortable, and also included with a high tech board making it easy to navigate.

Facilitator Mr Hilal is excellent in attending to our needs during the sessions and highlighting his efforts making the whole session smooth sailing and comfortable for us hence making this hotel a location of our choice every time we wish to have presentations.

Rooms are moderate, equipped with necessities. Good for business setting not so much for families.

Location is excellent as you have plenty of things to do around the beach and the marina with an excellent view as well.

Nice clean room, good size. Marina location is convenient but very busy.

The hotel is located at a good location, close to JBR and there a few restaurants and supermarkets located within walking distance!

Most of the staff are very nice and helpful, other than the lady who checked us in! She talked us into upgrading our room to the resident side with a balcony but failed to mention without a bath tub! She didn’t tell us until we already paid for! Now we are stuck into waiting for the whole refund process!


As for the room we stayed in… the junior suite! The view is still very nice, still can see part of the marina! However, the room is very very dark! It doesn’t have enough lights!
I can barely do my makeup at night even with all the lights on in the room!

The bed was too soft for us but apparently you can ask the housekeeping staff to remove some topper to make it more comfortable! However, I do suggest you to bring your own pillows if you want decent sleep! They are way too soft!

The hotel itself have very limited restaurants! One is the main restaurant located at the lobby! Breakfast options are decent! Another one is located at the 1st floor, is an Italian restaurant called Papa’s the food are amazing and delicious! However it is not part of the restaurant group!
