Before checking in, I was a bit worried the hotel might be old, but my concerns completely vanished once I arrived. The views were stunning, and the breakfast was quite generous. There was even staff on the balcony with birds, ready for photos at any time!
Facilities: Quite new, and the sea view is great.
Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy.
Service: Five-star standard service.
Breakfast: Besides noodles and Indian flatbread, there wasn't much Asian variety. 😂
Transportation: There's a shuttle bus to Yas Island's theme parks, running twice a day. The palace and presidential palace are within walking distance. Taxis to the Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi take about 20 minutes and cost around 40 AED.
Dining: The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and tasted good. The club lounge was just okay; the selection was a bit limited. Although it's accessible from 11 AM to 11 PM, I went in once in the afternoon and could only get drinks and biscuits.
Service: The staff at the entrance were very welcoming, and all the staff members we encountered were great. When we reported a strange noise from the refrigerator, it was resolved immediately.
Cleanliness: There were noticeable water stains on the vanity, which might be an age-related issue and hard to remove.
The only downside was that the breakfast was truly disappointing.
The location was also very convenient, close to the Presidential Palace, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Yas Island.
The front desk service was excellent; they were proactive in checking on guests and always ready to help.
In the afternoons, you might find an Arab gentleman with an owl in the lobby. You can interact with it and take photos!
The room has two sinks, which is very convenient, and they provide plenty of bottled water. The room is clean with no strange odors. The toiletries are also quite good. It's about a 30-minute drive to Yas Mall and very close to the Presidential Palace.
Overall, a very satisfying stay!
