This hotel is truly terrible. I booked it for 1.8k, which was a relatively cheap price for the whole year, but I still feel it wasn't worth it:
1. The hygiene is awful. The staff member who handed out dates was scratching their head and playing with their hair with their hands.
2. The breakfast is disgusting and unhygienic. The overall cleanliness is concerning. There were many Indian guests – I'm not being discriminatory, but their behavior was genuinely unhygienic.
3. We asked for a phone charger, and they gave us a useless cable, insisting they had no other. When we went down to the front desk to ask for one, we ran into a staff member. It took several calls to get their attention, and only then did they help us find a compatible charger and adapter.

This really doesn't live up to the Ritz brand. Avoid at all costs!

Amazing stay! Staffs are all very polite and friendly. Intensive care of each guest by remembering our names every time arriving at the hotel.

Room was facing the pool with balcony which it was really nice to have this view. The lobby was soooo beautiful and it always smells good like all other ritz Carlton.

Breakfast was good but the Doha Ritz Carlton was slightly nicer.

Very clean room and it doesn’t feel like the age of the hotel. Daily cleaning also great.

Highly recommend to try the Lebanese restaurant in the hotel. Nice food nice shisha and excellent service. We went twice during outstay. Specially shout out to Ransit he looked after us so well each time.

Right opposite of the white mosque which it was beautiful but if you are looking for loads of shops and restaurants this isn’t the case. For us we liked the quietness and we uber everywhere easily from the hotel

The guests at this hotel are incredibly old money, just like in the movies! You wouldn't have this kind of vibe unless you owned a couple of ancestral estates. It felt like stepping into Downton Abbey! I've never seen such a high concentration of old money guests at a hotel.

And now for the compliments!

The front desk was super friendly and allowed us to check in early. The bellhop was very enthusiastic, helped us with our luggage, and greeted us in Chinese. When we left, he said he hoped to see us again, which was very heartwarming! We felt right at home! I took a picture of the welcome Arabic coffee and dates, and the server immediately asked if I wanted to take a photo with the coffee cart!

The staff's memory is incredible. Despite such high occupancy, they remember small details about each guest and can recognize faces. This speaks volumes about the management!

On the first day, we wanted to eat at the Italian restaurant, but the manager said only the buffet was available for lunch, not à la carte, so he took us to the pool bar. He also helped us book Li restaurant for dinner. The next morning, he saw us and asked if Li restaurant was good?

The pool bar server proactively offered us local incense! And even brought us complimentary juice!

At breakfast, the server saw us and immediately asked if we wanted the same latte and cappuccino as yesterday morning?

At dinner, the server at Li restaurant saw us and asked if we wanted the same XX we ordered yesterday? And how was our trip to the Grand Mosque yesterday?

When we first checked in, I couldn't open a water bottle, so I asked a server to help. After that, all the water bottles delivered to our room were already opened! Such attention to detail! I feel like hotels back home could really learn a thing or two from this management! #RitzCarltonGrandCanalAbuDhabi #RitzCarltonAbuDhabiGrandCanal

One evening, we were swinging by the canal, and two figures appeared on the beach. Immediately, a staff member came over and asked us if they were our friends. We had no idea there were staff members quietly keeping an eye on us!

I chose the Ritz-Carlton to visit the Grand Mosque, and its location was perfect. The breakfast spread was excellent, and some of the buggy drivers were really enthusiastic and friendly. The only drawback was that the hot water wasn't hot enough; after filling the tub with just a little water, the temperature noticeably dropped.

The hotel lobby is grand and luxurious, creating an impressive first impression. However, the hotel shows signs of age. One unique feature is the glass window in the room that allows a view from the bathroom to the bedroom. Unfortunately, there are no curtains behind this window, which can be a concern. If you need to use the bathroom at midnight and turn on the lights, it may disturb your partner or friends.

Additionally, the housekeeping service varied significantly during our stay. One night, we received two pairs of new slippers, but on another night, they replaced them with worn slippers left randomly beside my and my friends’ beds. It was puzzling how they knew which slippers belonged to whom, which felt quite strange.

The service was excellent, and the location is good, right across from the mosque. The bathroom was very small, with the hairdryer even placed on the nightstand. I had to search for a long time to find the slippers, which were on the highest shelf in the closet. Also, one electrical outlet was broken, and the shower faucet was quite old. The swimming pool is large, seems to be seawater, and is apparently heated. The breakfast restaurant environment is average, not very big, and definitely not as grand and spacious as the Marriott on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the garden is nice, with dates and coffee available at the entrance. Overall, the service is great, but the room facilities are not very user-friendly and are quite old.

The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is very close to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The environment was lovely, and the staff were highly professional, warm, attentive, and well-trained. Overall, it offered good value for money.

The environment and room were both great, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. However, I was woken up by housekeeping next door in the morning. When I checked out, the front desk manager offered to make up for it and helped me arrange a taxi. The service attitude was decent.

Absolutely amazing! The beach was stunning, and the sea in Abu Dhabi is just incredible, so blue! The hotel itself is also beautiful, and the service was excellent. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious! I highly recommend opting for the all-inclusive breakfast and dinner package! The hotel even gave us a complimentary cup, which I loved.
