Pavilion Palace Hotel in Dubai

I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Raintree. The service was shockingly poor for a hotel that claims to offer premium hospitality. The staff was unresponsive and seemed uninterested in addressing guests’ concerns. My room wasn’t cleaned properly when I checked in — there were stains on the bedsheets and dust in the corners.

Room service was extremely slow; it took over an hour to get a simple order, and when it arrived, it was cold. The front desk staff were unhelpful when I tried to bring up these issues, brushing it off with no apology or attempt to resolve the situation.

Overall, the hotel did not live up to the expectations set by its online reviews and photos. Definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend staying here to anyone looking for good service and a clean, comfortable stay.

Poor customer service and rude receptionist. My family with 3 kids went there, do the booking through Agoda.com in front of the lady receptionist. while arranging the booking she did not inform us that pool is under maintenance. She let us finish the booking do the payment without informing us that we cannot use the pool. I spoke with the manager told him that the only reason we went there is for the kids to use the pool. He said they did not inform us because not all guest wanted to use pool. He said we can cancel the booking and give us refund but it didn’t happen. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was infested with bugs. Pillows, sheets, and towels were stained with filth and even blood — absolutely disgusting. Nothing was clean. The carpet was filthy; the streets outside were honestly cleaner than the room. Although there is supposed to be free public parking right in front of the hotel, the valets take control of it and don’t allow guests to park themselves. Completely unacceptable.

I strongly advise against staying here. Save your money and your health — this place is a nightmare.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at Raintree Rolla Hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience to ensure future guests are aware of what they might encounter.

I booked this hotel for a month, expecting a 4-star experience, as advertised on Check24. However, the reality was far from what was promised. Due to a flight delay, I arrived late at night, only to be given a room that was in terrible condition—damaged furniture, scratches all over, and overall poor maintenance. Despite specifically requesting a non-smoking room due to my allergy, I was given a smoking room. The bedsheets were dirty and had hair on them, and the bathroom was in a disgusting state.

To make matters worse, as I was about to eat in my room, a cockroach crawled near my food bag and entered my meal, making it completely inedible. At this point, I had no choice but to inform the reception. The front office team was very kind and understanding, and they quickly moved me to a king-size bedroom, which at first glance seemed better. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, I noticed more damages and cleanliness issues.

This is not the hotel I booked, and it is nowhere near the quality shown in the pictures online. The misleading photos and the false presentation of this property as a 4-star hotel are unacceptable. While I truly appreciate the efforts of the front desk staff, who were doing their best within the given circumstances, it is evident that the management and ownership have neglected their responsibilities. A hotel in such poor condition, with cockroach infestations, lack of cleanliness, and false advertising, damages Dubai’s reputation as a top-tier travel destination.

What is even more frustrating is that, despite being unable to use the bathroom or bed comfortably, I still have to pay for something that was falsely advertised. This is not only unethical but also unfair to guests who trust the information provided on booking platforms. The responsible authorities should take action to prevent such misrepresentation, ensuring that hotels meet the standards they claim to offer.

I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision, and I strongly urge the management to take serious corrective actions. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and truly 4-star experience.

My cousin booked the hotel for us and gave us the access card. The staff did not let us in because they said that my cousin is not present. My cousin is already drunk and the reason he booked the room for us is for us to sleep after his birthday celebration. But here is our little hero receptionist who is saying that we are not allowed since we are not the one who booked the room, given that we have the access card and he have spoken to my cousin ove the phone confirming that we are his guests. Lousy hotel and lousy policy. These kinds of hotel needs to be closed. My cousin paid for a room for his guests to stay but his guests are not allowed. You judge.

Poor Housekeeping & poor maintenance. The bedsheets & the pillow covers look crampled and unwashed . Teakettle is blackened from inside , and when asked to change the housekeeping staff says all kettles are like this only . Do not keep any extra Toilet rolls , even if the current one is on the verge of finishing. Complained several times about TV remote not working. No action and nobody bothers . No fridge in the room . Kitchen not operational so have to walk across the street to get the breakfast that was booked along with the room . Strongly not recommended

The best thing about Raintree was checking-out. Save your money. This is unfortunately not a 4-star hotel. We had to ask to change rooms because the first room was rundown, unclean, smelled of smoke, and has cigarette ash all over the window sill. In the second room I killed 4 cockroaches over 4 days, and missed a fifth. This room also had a weird smell and was in need of heaving cleaning.
