Xclusive Hotel Apartments in Dubai

This is about my experience during my recent solo stay at your hotel from 4th December to 8th December, which was booked through a tourist agent in Sri Lanka.
At the time of booking, I specifically requested a studio apartment. Upon check-in, I was informed that studio apartments were sold out and that I had been given a complimentary upgrade to a one-bedroom apartment. While I understand this was intended as a kind gesture, the apartment was extremely large, which caused me significant discomfort and anxiety. I am personally not comfortable in very large spaces, and this made it difficult for me to feel at ease, especially as I was traveling alone.
Unfortunately, the situation was made worse by the condition of the apartment. There was a persistent musty smell, and the bathroom had visible mold on the walls, which was unsettling. The overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable and affected my sense of safety, to the point where I felt anxious throughout the night.
When I tried to explain my discomfort to one of the Indian reception staff members, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of acknowledging how the room affected me, the staff member repeatedly emphasized how generous the hotel was to provide a free upgrade, without addressing my anxiety. I had to have hymns playing all night and a few friends on calls to help with my anxiety.
Additionally, I was charged 20 dirhams for a towel due to stains caused by my hair color. I was informed that the stains could not be removed, even though such stains are typically treatable with appropriate cleaning products. Despite being charged, I was not provided with the towel afterward, which felt unfair and disappointing.
I would also like to mention another uncomfortable interaction: on my first day, there was no hairdryer in my room. When I requested one, the staff member who delivered it searched through my cupboards as if I had been dishonest, which felt disrespectful and unnecessary.
That said, I would like to sincerely thank the Sri Lankan staff member at the reception and the restaurant staff member who were kind, respectful, and helpful. They were the only individuals who made me feel genuinely comfortable during my stay, and I truly appreciate their professionalism.
Overall, the atmosphere and these experiences negatively affected my stay, and I felt anxious rather than welcomed. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and use it to improve guest comfort, room conditions, and staff sensitivity especially towards female solo travelers.

I booked this hotel apartment for a one-month stay. They took AED 2,000 as a deposit, and I informed them I would be transferring the remaining amount from India. They agreed and shared their account details.

I assumed the money was already sent, but they informed me during the weekend that the amount hadn’t reflected in their account. I immediately explained the situation and even offered to pay by card for the weekend until the transfer cleared.

Instead of being understanding, the staff harassed us repeatedly.
They came to our room, opened the door without permission, and kept yelling that they would call the police even though I had clearly communicated the issue and offered an immediate alternative payment.

This was extremely unsafe and intimidating, especially for women. At the time, it was just me and an elderly woman in the room, and their behaviour was completely unacceptable.

This is by far the most disrespectful and unprofessional management I have encountered. I felt unsafe and disrespected. I paid for the two days and left immediately.

If anyone from Exclusive Apartments management is reading this, please take immediate action against the bald male staff member involved. If anyone else staying here needs evidence, feel free to reach out to me.

On top of everything, the room was extremely small, and the bathroom water kept clogging constantly. An overall terrible experience.

There are many better, safer, cleaner, and friendlier hotel apartments nearby, often at a much lower price.
My sincere advice: avoid this place at all costs.
