Completely independent pub , HOMEMADE FOOD ! The menu does not do the food justice ! Great staff and a good atmosphere! Outside seating and smoking area ! Toilets are clean and well maintained! Prices are reasonable for the times and the work that goes into the food and service !! Well done

Lovely place, friendly staff, clean, value for money, will come back, clean rooms, tea/coffee milk everyday in our room, had continental breakfast which we enjoyed both mornings,

The service and staff at this hotel/restaurant is excellent , very friendly and helpful. The room was good had everything you need . Restaurant meals good and great value. Continental breakfast was plentiful and better than anticipated

This is a small family run business but would appear to be in line with some of the bigger chains of hotels. First impressions were it was very clean and tidy. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and were more like your friend . The room we stayed in was very small but again, very clean and tidy. The breakfast available was continental. It would be nice to be able to have had a cooked breakfast option. The evening meal that we had was excellent and great portion sizes. The beer is outstanding and reasonably priced. We will be definitely staying here again and we will bring our children . It is very close to Liverpool FC which is another added bonus.

Went for food. Staff were nice. Table was sticky, needed a clean. Ordered 6oz cheese burger, given a frozen burger (possibly from wholesalers or Lidl) but def wasn’t 6oz. Cheese was like an easy single, had hoped for melted cheese. Was given 7 chips on plate (I counted) and half the plate was lettuce / salad. The problem with this place is the menu is too busy. Just do 6-7 mains and do them well, rather than cutting corners on 10-15 mains.

Stayed here after watching Liverpool play. Great location. Easy to walk to stadium. Bar and restaurant had a great atmosphere. Book a table if you want to eat before the game. Room was last one left. had 4 small single beds. Very uncomfortable!

Liked Location down the road from Anfield. Walk down Walton Breck Road to Anfield. Walk pass Stevie G Mural at Dinorwic Road. Great location for Liverpool FC fans Can see Anfield Stadium from L4 room. Small cosy bar/ diner / hotel Great local host - Bev Free parking Good food Safe neighborhood Disliked No lift Old place (well maintained) Not your typical international chain hotel standard but has local charm Bed, pillows, bedding, blanket, towels have seen better days. Water pressure and temperature control was iffy. Hotel responded to our queries but we only stayed for 2 days and had left by then.

We held my Father's wake here . From the start Bev was so helpful. Talked me through the buffet options etc. The room is very spacious and has its own bar and clean toilets. The food was excellent. Everyone commented how nice it was. We had over catered so takeaway cartons were provided for people to take some home. The 2 bar staff worked really hard. When not serving were constantly clearing tables etc. I would highly recommend the place, they were lovely . Thank you! A Davies

Great location as my husband and son went to the game, great service with food and drink even though it was busy it was quick service.
