We had a truly wonderful Christmas Eve stay at The Lowry Hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. Our room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, stylish, and perfectly prepared for a festive getaway.
Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with plenty of choice and great quality throughout. It was the perfect way to start Christmas Day.
We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you to the team at The Lowry for making our Christmas Eve memorable. We can’t wait to return.

The room and breakfast were both quite good, the service was also good, and the hotel's location was great. The only downside was the slightly expensive parking fee. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

beautiful hotel but location was not near the lowry theatre or media city. Still within a good location if you are wanting to experience the city of manchester which is a 5 min walk.

Great experience from check in to check out, our only complaint was we were right next to a lift shaft which was a little noisy.

Lovely restaurant and great atmosphere. The food was excellent quality although one of our dishes was luke warm. This can be overlooked I guess at the restuarant was packed. Definitely would come back next time I’m in Manchester. The staff were all really proactive. ?

I haven't actually eaten at the restaurant rather I was attempting to have a bottle a champagne sent to a friend's table to supprise her, I'm currently 200 miles away so was unable to walk in and order this.
I rang and spoke to a pleasant young lady who was at first very helpful which I appreciated as I could hear that the restaurant was,as ever, very busy.
I attempted to give the name of the booking but the young lady had problems understanding my clear northern accent, Even spelling the names she still was unable to say the correct name ,the young lady asked me to ring back with more details, eventually I found more details and rang back only to be told 'we are far too busy and we are not prepared to take responsibility'. This is not very good service in my opinion, as I have already started I am In another country and wanted to supprise a dear friend, I have done this in other restaurants throughout Europe and NEVER had an Issue yet one of the most prestigious Restaurants in my home town can't be bothered to help out.

This place is excellent. The service is perfect, the ambience and atmosphere within the restaurant itself are fantastic. The food is beautiful, everything has rich powerful flavours. Highly recommend this place if you want a quick lunch or more substantial evening meal.

3rd or 4th time to San Carlo’s restaurant. Booked in advance but turned up early on Sunday at 1830pm and got a table no problem. Waiter and waitress impeccable, filling wine glasses, very attentive without intruding, and food served in good time. Could not fault the food, best fillet steak I have had and I have eaten a lot! I guess the service must be hit and miss as ours has always been good. I am fussy if waiters aren’t there when you want something and I only had to ever look round and they came over. Enjoyed 2 perfect Margaritas to finish off a lovely dinner.

Had a night in Manchester & was recommended to go here. We where not disappointed ? Very good atmosphere & best staff with lots of enthusiasm & advice. One of the most expensive meals we ever had but one we will remember ... steak & lobster..only dropped a star as the lobster was not as tasty as expected (probably farmed) but we have had fresh sea lobster abroad so we could compare. Steak was fab though. We might try another San Carlo nearer us next time.

Looked great from the outside. Was told 20 mins for a table, waited 45 mins at the bar, with plenty of empty tables, with no update. Left unchallenged and bitterly disappointed, shame.

terrible service. Staffs look like they are asleep and chatting to each other without doing their job. The food is awful too salty and in professionally cooked. I will not recommended this place to anyone.

Went to Chichetti Manchester today. Ordered croissant and cappuccino . Asked if the croissant was warm and was told it had been freshly baked on site. It obviously hadn't and no offer was made to warm it . The cold croissant appeared quickly and the cappuccino didn't then arrive for another 10 minutes.
Obviously not very interested in people ordering small orders. I have always gone here when visiting Manchester but now won't bother in future.

The first thing I want to say is that the food is decent quality and we(my boyfriend and I) would rate this higher if it was only based on the food. The service was dissapointing. Some of the male waiters came across as arrogant with really bad spoken English, I had to keep asking them to repeat themselves. The toilets very dirty, toilet paper all over the floor. The place wasn't that busy, the staff stood around and chatted to each other in Italian right next to our table, which I also think is very rude. Based on this bad service experience, we're not coming back here

Came here for a meal with work friday lunch. Won't be coming back again. £17 for a horrible chicken burger. Also ordered cheesy chips. Pretty sure they put cheese slices on there to melt. Won't ever be going back.

The place was rather empty so that I thought maybe people don't like it... but fortunately it's really good. Good burgers, good fries and good beer - and really polite staff. In particular I liked to sit outside at the river and that it was not loud and with noisy or blaring "music" (outside).

It was very quiet. The burgers were very nice. The staff was very polite and very helpful. We sat outside and the benches as the tables were a little bit dusty. But in general very nice.
